Today the President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel to Turkmenistan Ismail Khaldi, who presented his credentials to the head of state.

In order to improve the provision of the country with workers with higher and secondary vocational education in the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state, to improve the recognition in Turkmenistan of documents on higher and secondary vocational education issued in foreign countries, as well as to fulfill the obligations arising from the Convention on the Recognition of Professional Qualifications on higher education in the European Region, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Decree, according to which the Innovation and Information Centre of the Ministry of Education is designated as an institution authorized to carry out the functions of national information centres specified in the Convention on the Recognition of Professional Qualifications for Higher Education in the European Region.

The events of the past week reflected the priorities of the state policy of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov - further development of fruitful international cooperation, increasing the economic potential of the Motherland, commitment to the democratic path of development, caring attitude and increasing the spiritual and material values of the native people.

Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has held a working meeting via a digital system, which was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers A. Yazmyradov, who is in charge of the agricultural sector, and the khyakims of velayats. Issues of the development of the agro-industrial complex and the progress of seasonal agricultural work were submitted for consideration.

Today, a briefing was held at which the head of the Central Commission for Elections and Referendums in Turkmenistan announced preliminary results of the elections of deputies of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, members of the Khalk Maslakhaty and Gengeshes for velayats, etraps and cities.

Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received Director General -Chairman of the Board of Joint Stock Company “Russian railways” Oleg Belozerov.

Today, at the briefings of Missions of observers from the Commonwealth of Independent States, Shanghai Cooperation Organization and Organization of Turkic states, results of monitoring over preparation and elections of deputies of the Mejlis were announced. In events, representatives of national and foreign mass media and also members of the Central Commission for Elections and Referendums in Turkmenistan took part.

Within the framework of the visit of the delegation of the Mission of international observers of SCO led by Deputy Secretary-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Grigory Logvinov, the meeting with representatives of the Central Commission for Elections and Referendums in Turkmenistan took place. The elections of deputies of the Mejlis, members of the Khalk Maslakhaty and Gengeshes for velayats, etraps and cities, which were held on March 26, became the main topic of discussion.

Last week, 31 transactions were registered at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.

As TDH was informed in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, at 42 polling stations at diplomatic missions and consular offices of our country in foreign countries elections of deputies of the Mejlis, members of the Khalk Maslakhaty and Gengeshes for velayats, etraps and cities were held well organized with high activity of voters.
