Today, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov went on a visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to perform the Hajj rites.

The Hero-Arkadag arrived at the Ashgabat International Airport, where he was escorted by officials.

Here, the National Leader of the Turkmen people held a meeting with a representative of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Turkmenistan.

Having cordially congratulated the Hero-Arkadag on Eid al-Adha and the opening of Arkadag city, the diplomat wished him a successful visit and offered a prayer that Haji Arkadag’s pilgrimage to Mecca city would be accepted by the Almighty.

Expressing gratitude for the kind wishes, prayers and congratulations, the Arkadag-Hero noted that members of the Council of Elders at the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship also went to the Holy Mecca of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which is another confirmation of the expansion of partnership relations between the two states.

The National Leader of the Turkmen people emphasized that the current visit is evidence of the special reverence of the peoples of our countries for national values and traditions, the continuity of noble principles.

The airliner of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Haji Arkadag headed to Jeddah city of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

On the travel itinerary, the plane flew over the new Arkadag city, where the final preparations were underway for the start of the celebrations on the occasion of its opening. At that moment, all the participants of the ceremony offered a prayer to the Almighty for the successful completion of the pilgrimage by Haji Arkadag.

After a while, the Hero-Arkadag’s airliner landed at the King Abdulaziz International Airport.

Haji Arkadag was warmly welcomed at the air harbor by the Governor of Jeddah, Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Jalawi Al Saud and other officials.

There was a conversation over a cup of tea between the official representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Hero-Arkadag, during which he highlighted that he was glad to see the National Leader of the Turkmen people and members of the delegation of Turkmenistan on the sacred land and, congratulating on the Holy Eid al-Adha, offered prayers to the Almighty for the successful Hajj and acceptance of this sadaqah.

Hero-Arkadag noted with satisfaction that cooperation between the two countries covers a wide range of areas, and expressed confidence that it will continue to develop comprehensively and successfully in the future.
