President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent deep condolences to the President of the United States of America Donald Trump in connection with the tragic event that occurred near the Ronald Reagan Airport in Washington, D.C., which resulted in numerous casualties. 

On January 29, 2025, a telephone conversation took place between the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov, during which an interested exchange of views took place on a number of important issues of bilateral cooperation.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, on behalf of the people, the Government of Turkmenistan and himself, sent sincere congratulations and best wishes to the Chairman of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping on the occasion of the Spring Festival.

Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atakhalliyev and khyakims of the velayats to consider issues related to the state of affairs in the agricultural sector and regions of the country.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent sincere congratulations to Mr. Alexander Lukashenko on the occasion of his re-election as President of the Republic of Belarus. 

The President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a Decree according to which, taking into account the contribution to strengthening the defense capability of the independent Fatherland, conscientious fulfillment of the sacred military duty and great merits in strengthening the rule of law and order, maintaining peace in society, as well as in honor of Defenders of the Fatherland Day, in accordance with paragraph 15 of Article 71 of the Constitution of Turkmenistan, a group of servicemen and employees of the military and law enforcement agencies of the country were awarded military and special ranks, as well as class ranks.

Last week, 17 transactions were registered at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.
