As preparations continue for the glorious 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s sacred independence, welcome news has been received about a new inflow of natural gas from the «Çemmerli» gas field, located in the Central Garagum Desert. This remarkable event has added another significant entry to the chronicle of the Year “Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses,” once again confirming the effectiveness of the work being carried out in the sector, which is following the path of harmonious development.

In the modern era, as a result of the successful implementation, under the leadership of Arkadagly Hero Serdar, of the initiatives put forward by the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Hero-Arkadag, aimed at the comprehensive development of the national economy, significant achievements are being made in the structures of the fuel and energy complex, as well as in all other sectors. It should be noted that particular importance is attached to strengthening the industry’s material and technical base and advancing its development on a scientific foundation.

By order of the «Döwletabatgazçykaryş» Department of the State Concern «Türkmengaz», the «Türkmengazburawlaýyş» Department drilled appraisal and production well No. 265, with a design depth of 1,200 meters, as part of the development of the «Çemmerli» gas field. During testing of the well, a commercial flow of natural gas exceeding 150,000–200,000 cubic meters per day was obtained from the 1,110–1,114 meter interval.

This is further confirmation that operations at the «Türkmengazburawlaýyş» Department are being carried out at a high level and that technologies are being improved on the basis of modern methods, contributing to the successful implementation of the tasks set by Hero-Arkadag and the President of Turkmenistan regarding the digitalization of all sectors of the national economy and the effective application of advanced international experience.

The discovery of a new natural gas inflow at the «Çemmerli» gas field, located in the Central Garagum gas-bearing region, is a clear result of the work of the industry’s specialists and employees, who are marking the Independence Day celebrations with new labor achievements.

As a result of the exploration and development of new oil and gas fields in the country, additional volumes of crude oil and natural gas are being produced. This is clear evidence of the consistent strengthening of the material and technical base of the fuel and energy complex, as well as the introduction of the latest scientific achievements and innovative technologies into production.

This latest success will contribute to strengthening the Motherland’s status as a major exporter of energy resources and reinforcing its position in the global energy market.
