Today, in the «Avaza» National Tourist Zone, as part of the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries, a high-level roundtable meeting was held on the issues of using the growing potential of trade, simplification of trade procedures and regional integration as an important condition for sustainable development.

Today, the Private Sector Forum, held within the framework of the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries, continued its work in the «Avaza» National Tourist Zone.

Continuing a cycle of publications devoted to thematic events on the margins of the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDCs), which will be held in Avaza national tourist zone in August, one should point out that Turkmenistan, as an active participant of global processes and committed to principles of multilateral diplomacy, displays a dynamic development of cooperation with the United Nations Organization.

In a few days, Turkmenistan will host the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDCs), an event of global significance associated with changes in the lives of over 570 million people living in 32 countries located on different continents. The solution to their special problems associated with overcoming geographical isolation, expanding access to investment, world trade markets and integration into the world economy is closely linked to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals common to all mankind. The UN Conferences on LLDCs, held once a decade, are important platforms for reviewing the progress achieved in the development of these countries and defining an action program for the next decade.
