A festive concert, dedicated to the International Day of Neutrality took place at the Palace of Mukams of the State Cultural Centre.

Today, people of independent neutral Turkmenistan and the world community mark International Neutrality Day. Flower laying ceremony to the Monument of Neutrality took place on occasion of the event with participation of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

“December 12, 1995 is inscribed in the history of our country as a particularly important historical event. 24 years ago, Turkmenistan acquired the legal status of permanent neutrality. During this short in historical standards period, our state has accumulated valuable experience in building friendly relations with the countries of the planet and authoritative organizations in the name of ensuring peace, security, sustainable development, and the formation of effective vectors of international cooperation,” says President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in his congratulatory Address.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held working session on modernization and improvement of activity of the State Commodity and Raw Material exchange according to the Concept of digital economy and measures related to this objective.

The conference hall of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs hosted scientific conference “Neutrality of Turkmenistan: Cooperation for Peace, Security and Sustainable Development”.

New workshop for production of 40,000 tons of iodized table salt and 2,500 tons of granulated technical salt per year was opened at Guwlyduz Plant of the State Concern Türkmenhimiýa on the threshold of International Neutrality Day.

As per tradition, opening ceremonies of new residential buildings were held in different regions of the country on the threshold of International Neutrality Day. Representatives of city, velayat and etrap administrations, public organizations , honoured elders and youth took part in the events.

President of Turkmenistan addressed participants of the forum dedicated to the International Day of Neutrality.

Opening ceremony of water distribution station, which was built at the territory of Yangala gengeshlyk for provision of stable water supply of rapidly developing region with growing population, has taken place in Gyoktepe etrap.
