Today, the national museum «Ak bugdaý» hosted the international scientific meeting under the title «Turkmenistan - the centre of ancient civilisations», timed to the 95th birthday anniversary of outstanding scientists, archaeologists, winners of the International award named after Magtymguly Vadim Masson and Victor Sarianidi.

The past week marked by participation of the President of Turkmenistan in the meeting of the Council of heads of CIS states and in the representative international forum which was held in Ashgabat «Interrelation of times and civilisations - a basis of peace and development» as well as celebrations on the occasion of Day of workers of public health services and medical industry, other important events, provided new evidence of successful realisation of the internal and foreign policy, consistently and steadily pursued by the head of Turkmenistan in the year «The Fount of wisdom of Magtymguly Fragi».

To appoint the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Yazmyrat Nurniyazovich Seryayev, as simultaneously the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Ireland (with residence in London).

On October 14, 2024, a telephone conversation took place between the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

Last week, 9 transactions were registered at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.

On the 12th of October, a presentation of a collection of poems by Magtymguly Fragi translated into Armenian took place at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The event was attended by the President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan and members of the delegation of the friendly country, as well as some heads of the education sector, faculty and students of the university.

On the 12th of October, a joint concert of artists from Turkmenistan and Mongolia was held at the National Music and Drama Theatre named after Magtymguly. The event was organized as part of the state visit of President Uhnaagiyna Hurelsuha to our country.

On October 12, 2024, as part of the first state visit of the President of Mongolia to Turkmenistan, high-level negotiations were held between the heads of state Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh.
