Today, a nationwide greening campaign was held in the country with the participation of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. 

Among the participants of today's celebration are the Chairperson of the Mejlis, Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, heads and representatives of military and law enforcement agencies, ministries, industry departments, representative offices of foreign countries and international organisations accredited in our country, as well as the general public. 

In the new historical epoch, under the leadership of the President, the initiatives of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Hero-Arkadag, aimed at ensuring environmental well-being, are being successfully implemented. In this regard, great importance is attached to expanding the area of forest zones in our country and preserving the biological diversity of its nature.

The environmental policy pursued by the state is aimed at creating a sustainable, clean natural environment for future generations. An important aspect of this policy is the broad involvement of the population in work related to the protection of our nature. The nationwide greening campaign contributes to the implementation of such noble goals and the formation of an environmental culture in our society.

In the state policy of the President, special attention is paid to issues related to environmental protection. Comprehensive reforms carried out in the economic and social spheres of the country - as an important condition for the prosperous life of our people, are inextricably linked with the environment.

In this context, it should be noted that in accordance with the program «Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state: the National Program for Socio-Economic Development of Turkmenistan for 2022-2052», as well as the «Program of the President of Turkmenistan for Socio-Economic Development of the Country for 2022-2028», large-scale work is being carried out to create a clean ecological environment in our homeland.
