On May 27, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov received Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine Gennady Zubko, who arrived in Ashgabat as the head of his country’s representative delegation to participate in the fourth meeting of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Ukrainian Commission for Economic Cooperation.

At the last week’s Jujitsu Championship of Central and South Asia which was held in the Indian city Bangalore Turkmen nationals demonstrated their high sporting excellence, having won 14 medals (!): eight gold, two silver and four bronze ones.

Timed to the Day of City holiday, a number of architectural-artistic openings that the Turkmen capital hosted last week added to the list of its places of attractions.

Construction started of a new kindergarten in the village of Chishmikioy, Vulkanesht district, Gagauz Autonomous Region of the Republic of Moldova. The idea of the project was proposed by the Turkmen leader in 2013, in the course of his official visit to Kishinev.
