Construction started of a new kindergarten in the village of Chishmikioy, Vulkanesht district, Gagauz Autonomous Region of the Republic of Moldova. The idea of the project was proposed by the Turkmen leader in 2013, in the course of his official visit to Kishinev. The foundation-laying ceremony of a new 160-seat kindergarten was attended by President of the Republic of Moldova Nikolae Timofti, head of the Gagauz autonomy Irina Vlah, representatives of the Moldavian parliament, the leaders of diplomatic mission of Turkmenistan in this country, the Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Union of Turkmenistan, our country’s Food Industry Association and other members of the Turkmen delegation which arrived in the friendly country authorized by the nation’s leader. In the ceremony opening speech, President of Moldova Nikolae Timofti has emphasized that during his visit to Turkmenistan in April of the running year the important agreements were reached about cooperation in different fields, including cultural, humanitarian and business spheres. The new kindergarten’s project financed by Turkmenistan became a striking illustration of the progress of the partnership-based relations. In their speeches, our country’s representatives emphasized that the efficiency of meetings between the heads of two states had a beneficial effect on the rapidly developing economic cooperation between Moldova and Turkmenistan. The agreements and documents signed gave a powerful impulse to further deepening of bilateral partnership. Over this year’s four months alone, the countries’ trade turnover increased over three times compared with the last year’s similar period, having approximated to the indicator of 2014. After the ceremony’s official part, the President of the Moldavian Republic, the head of Gagauz Autonomy and the Chairman of the Board of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Union of Turkmenistan laid a foundation stone of the future educational complex which will be built in compliance with all modern standards made for the preschool centers of the kind.
