President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov held a working meeting by direct video communication with participation of deputy chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers who supervises the spheres of construction and power energy, khyakims of velayats and Ashgabat city. Issues of the grain-harvesting campaign and preparation for the Week of Culture to be held in Ashgabat were put on the agenda.

Today Ashgabat will host the International conference, “Role of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea in Developing Cooperation in the Central Asian Region”.

Past week at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan 57 transactions were registered.

The primary goals of the executive committee of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea - maintenance of practical realisation of decisions of the Council of heads of the states-founders, the President and Board of IFAS on problems of the basin of the Aral sea; development, conduction of inspection and realisation of programs and projects directed to the improvement of ecological conditions of the Aral sea basin. The committee co-ordinates activity of branches, special agencies and funds for improvement of social and ecological conditions in the Aral sea basin located in the territories of the states-founders of IFAS, assistance of work of the Interstate Commission on Water Coordination (ICWC) and the Interstate Commission on Sustainable Development (ICSD).

Current political, economic, cultural and social progress of Turkmenistan, which is commited to the principles of democratic, legal and temporal state, was achieved owing to the unity and solidarity of the society as well as humane governmental policy, - the message says.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov sent deep condolences to Federal Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany Angela Merkel and Federal President of the Federal Republic of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier inrelation with decease of former Federal Chancellor of Germany Helmut Kohl.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov sent deep condolences the Queen of United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Elizabeth II and Prime Minister of United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Theresa May in relations with fire in Grenfell Tower in London caused numerous victims and injuries.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov initiated a new popularization campaign organized within the framework of the Ashgabat-2017 project to strengthen the principles of a healthy lifestyle in the society.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held the regular session of the Cabinet of Ministers that discussed the pressing issues of the state affairs and reviewed several draft documents.
