Outcomes of the 7th Regional Economic Cooperation Conference on Afghanistan that was held in Ashgabat on 14-15 November have been reviewed at the session of the Government of Turkmenistan.

Delayed coker unit will be installed at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries. The results of the international tender for its construction have been announced at the Government session by the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Minister in charge of fuel and energy complex, M.Babayev.

A new housing estate, with the relevant technical, road and transport infrastructure, will be built in the Abadan district of Ashgabat.

The program of the art forum will include events focused on intensifying the Turkmen–Romanian dialog in the humanitarian field. Among them are: reception of the delegation of the friendly country at the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan; meetings between museum specialists; exhibition of the Romanian national clothing and items of decorative and applied art; film screenings; master class; and joint concert.

Representatives of the Mejlis, the Turkmen National Institute of Democracy and Human Rights under the President of Turkmenistan, the National Institute of Education, the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry, the public organizations, specialists from several ministries and departments, teachers and students of the institutes of higher education and mass media members attended the event organized by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov has received Senior Adviser to the President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan on Infrastructure and Technology Mohammad Humayon Qayoumi.

Our young athletes showed excellent results at the international competitions that take place in Antalya, Turkey as part of the archery training session. In particular, in 18 meter-distance archery competitions the gold medal was awarded to Ezizmuhammet Sahedov, a 4th year pupil of general school No. 27 of Ashgabat city. Mekanhan Yazberdiyev, a 10th year pupil of genera school No. 12 of Ashgabat city won the silver medal.

The National Institute of Sports and Tourism of Turkmenistan hosted the opening ceremony of the 9th Student Games held among students of higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan under the motto “Turkmenistan is the country of health and inspiration!”, and the 9th National Sports Contest between students of general and vocational schools, employees of ministries and sectoral agencies, the teams of velayats and the city of Ashgabat.
