In the conference hall of the hotel ""Archabil"" the Turkmen-Austrian business forum took place. For participation in the meeting in the capital the delegation as a part of heads and representatives of official bodies and companies of Austria specialising in areas of power, mechanical engineering, agriculture and food-processing industry, manufacture of building materials, road building, transport and logistics, public health services, tourism, education and software arrived.

Turkmenistan National team continue successful performance at the World Powerlifting Championship in Anaheim. Our sportsmen won another three silver medals.

Turkmenistan wrestlers won seven medals at the World Kurash Championship in Istanbul. Our team has brought the strongest wrestlers who are the prize-winners of the V Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games that were held in Ashgabat in September.

Past week at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan 16 transactions were registered.

Our compatriot, student of National Institute of Sports and Tourism Kristina Shermetova won three medals in women weight category until 53 kilogramme – two bronze medals in clean-and-jerk and snatch and one silver medal in total count.
