President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held video conference working session with the participation of the hyakims of the velayats and the capital where objectives of social and economic development of the regions and situation in agricultural complex were discussed.

The development of transport infrastructure, modernization of technical base of road and other modes of transport are key aspects of socio-economic policy, implemented consistently by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. At a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, held on January 12, the head of state reiterated the importance of the work, carried out in this direction, outlining the organization of well co-ordinated public transport, qualitative passenger service among the priority tasks for the near-term outlook.

To enhance the efficiency of implementation of projects on construction of the Turkmenistan–Afghanistan–Pakistan–India gas pipeline, transport corridors and power bridges along the Turkmenistan–Afghanistan–Pakistan route; to coordinate the relevant works, the President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution on Establishing the Working Committee to coordinate the implementation of the said projects, thus approving the Regulation for this committee and its membership.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov extended deep condolences to the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hassan Rouhani, over the oil tanker collision in the East China Sea that led to significant loss of life.

According to the Resolution of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov,

Past week at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan 22 transactions were registered.
