Voting continues at elections of members of the Sixth Convocation of the National Parliament of Turkmenistan, people’s councils and local councils. According to the Central Election Commission, as of 17:00, 86.34 percent of the eligible electorate cast their vote at the election of members of the National Parliament; 86.87 percent voted at the election of members of provincial, district and municipal people’s councils; and 86.23 percent attended the election of members of local councils.

According to the Central Election Commission, as of 15:00, 77.77 percent of the eligible electorate cast their vote at the election of members of the National Parliament; 77.87 percent voted at the election of members of provincial, district and municipal people’s councils; and 76.34 percent attended the election of members of local councils.

The elections of the deputies of Mejlis of the VI convocation, Halk Maslahaty and Gengesh members are held in Turkmenistan on the wide alternative basis.
