Turkmen team successfully performed and won seven medals among than 130 sportsmen from 13 countries at Asian Kurash Championship in Mumbai, India. Maria Lohova, the student of National Institute of Sports and Tourism of Turkmenistan won the gold in women’s weight category up to 70 kg. Shamuhammet Kurbanov (up to 60 kg) and Hudayberdy Jumayev (up to 100 kg) won silver medals. Marat Orazov (up to 66 kg), Dayanch Omirov (up to 81 kg), Dayanch Taganov (up to 100 kg) and Gulshat Nasyrova (up to 63 kg) were the bronze medallists.
