President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov addressed congratulation message to personnel of the State Migration Service of Turkmenistan on occasion of their professional holiday.

The Intergovernmental Turkmen-Romanian commission on the economic, scientific and technological cooperation held the 7th session. The meeting brought together the heads and representatives of a number of governmental intuitions of the two countries.

By the request of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Speaker of the Mejlis gulshat Mammedova received the credentials of Mohammed Sharif Anis, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic Socialistic Republic of Sri Lanka to Turkmenistan.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held video conference working session with the participation of the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers supervising the spheres of transport and communication, the Minister of Agriculture and Water Management, hyakims of the regions and Ashgabat.

Ashgabat hosted the country’s taekwondo championship (ITF). 18 sets of medals were contested in “fight” and “tuli” disciplines in seven weight categories.

The Conference Hall of the Center for Public Organizations of Turkmenistan hosted a Conference dedicated to Resolutions, “World Bicycle Day” and “Cooperation between the United Nations and the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea”, adopted at the 82nd meeting of the 72nd session of the UN General Assembly and drafted based on the initiative by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. The Conference was attended by Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, Chair and members of the National Parliament, leaders of ministries and sectoral agencies, heads of foreign diplomatic missions accredited in Turkmenistan, representatives of the country’s public organizations, mass media and honorable elders.

The adoption of another two Resolutions, which were initiated by President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, by the United Nations General Assembly highlighted the growing role of our country in international arena in the assertion of humanistic principles, its creative and peace-making potential.

21 transactions were registered at the trades of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.

During the session of the Government, the President of Turkmenistan requested the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Foreign Minister and other relative leaders to organize the events dedicated to the adoption of the Resolutions “World Bicycle Day” and “Cooperation between the United Nations Organization and International Fund for Saving of Aral Sea”, which drafts were elaborated by the initiative of Turkmen leader.
