President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Friedrich Merz on the occasion of his election as Federal Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany.

In order to consistently strengthen the country's economic potential, increase the volume of wheat production as a source of prosperity for the people and guarantee food independence, organise high-level operational collection without losses and uninterrupted transportation of the grown wheat crop to warehouses and elevators, as well as timely settlements with grain producers in the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state, the President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution, according to which the State Commission for the organised conduct of the grain harvest in 2025 was created and its composition was approved.

Today, the President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country, General of the Army Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the State Security Council. The agenda included the results of the work of the military and law enforcement agencies of the country for January-April of this year, issues of ensuring security and stability in our independent Fatherland, strengthening the material and technical base of the security forces, as well as further improving their activities.

On May 5-6, 2025, the National Leader of Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov paid an official visit to the French Republic.
