The capital's cinema and concert hall “Watan” has hosted the closing of the Week of Culture of the Islamic Republic of Iran and a joint concert of Turkmen and Iranian artists. Speakers at the ceremony have stressed that the present action is yet another clear sign of friendship and fruitful humanitarian cooperation between the two countries and serves to the mutual enrichment of cultures.

In the Turkmen capital, it was opened Cultural Week of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Turkmenistan. The campaign was organized by the Cultural Center of IRI Embassy in Ashgabat and Ministry of Culture of our country.

The State Museum of the State Cultural Centre has opened an updated and expanded exposition hall dedicated to the history and culture of the Middle Ages.

The capital Winter Sports Complex, which is turned into the largest stage where the brightest representatives of national and foreign singers show their talent and art, hosted two performances of Turkmen pop celebrities. The programme of the concert included performances of Dinara Rozyguliyeva, Parahat Amandurdiyev, Begmyrat Annamyradov, Nuryagdy Rejepov, Sohbet Kasymov, Ahmet Atajanov, Zuleikha Kakayeva, Myahri Pirguliyeva as well as choreographic miniatures by the famous dance bands. The performance of the artists was warmly welcomed by the spectators and followed by the storm of applauses.
