Buildings of ""Ak öýi"", which in their manner are repeating the traditional shape of Turkmen white yurts, will be built in all velayat centers of Turkmenistan. Such an instruction was given by the President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to the vice-premiers responsible for the regions of the country and to the khyakims of the velayats. The Head of the state instructed the relevant leaders to proceed with the construction of ""Ak öýi"" buildings in the velayat centers of Balkanabat, Dashoguz and Turkmenabat. The President instructed to begin their construction on January 1, 2018 and noted that all conditions for holding socio-political and cultural events at the highest level should be created in Ak öýi. In Mary velayat such a building has been in operation since 2015, and the Council of Elders of Turkmenistan has recently been held in ""Ak öýi"" of the Akhal velayat.
