In the Mukam palace an awarding ceremony of workers of culture and art in which bestowal of honorary titles and awarding of creative specialists - winners of the competition of the President of Turkmenistan «Türkmeniň Altyn asyry» took place. From the stage of the Mukam the Ukase of the President of Turkmenistan on bestowal of honorary titles in honour of the 26 anniversary of independence of the country on workers of culture and art and creative specialists and the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan on awarding of winners of the national competition «Türkmeniň Altyn asyry» were read out. To the applause of the gathered corresponding certificates, and also diplomas and awards of winners of the annual contest were been handed to the best representatives of creative intellectuals of the country. The awardees expressed the head of the state their gratitude for an appreciation of their work, care and attention shown to the revival and augmentation of spiritual heritage of people, creation of all conditions for high-grade creative activity in the country. By recognition of speakers, they perceive this award not only as great honour, but also as one more evidence of an uniting role of art which in all its national features, has a universal character.
