It was adopted a Program on preservation of non-material cultural heritage

It was adopted the State Program on collection, study and preservation of national non-material cultural heritage within 2015-2020. The President of Turkmenistan signed today a relevant Resolution at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers in Turkmenabat. It was also approved a Plan of activities on realization of this State Program aimed at maintenance of safety of values of national non-material cultural heritage, their accessibility for future generations. Program has a complex nature and envisages the participation in its realization of different ministries, sectoral departments, city and vilayet municipalities. It was passed in accordance with the Law of Turkmenistan “On preservation of national non-material cultural heritage”, within the framework of activity on study and popularization in the world of national spiritual heritage, development of cooperation in this direction with UNESCO.
