In military unit № 1001 named after Mälikguly Berdymuhamedov of the Ministry of Internal Affairs the presentation of the new book by the President, Supreme Commander- in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan general Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov «Mert ýigitler gaýrat üçin dogulýar» took place. The edition is devoted to the activity of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan which carries out a major role in maintenance of law, public order and peace. In the book the history of establishment of this key body of the state system and a personal contribution of Mälikguly Berdymuhamedov who has worked in these structures and has gained a wide experience of work for many years, is highlighted. On the occasion of solemn action the exhibition of cars and other special vehicles which were used in bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the country in various years, was organised. Participants of the celebration also visited the museum of military unit № 1001, devoted to the work of the honourable veteran of law-enforcement bodies of Turkmenistan Mälikguly Berdymuhamedov. Among exhibits - the documents belonging to the father of the President of Turkmenistan, awards and honours, and diplomas for merits and others. Speakers of the presentation noticed that the new book by the president is addressed to the wide reader's audience and is a unique school for generations, in particular, staff of law-enforcement bodies. Speakers also talked of wise spiritual traditions of our people one of which is the institute of elders and also continuity and preceptorship. During the presentation veterans of the Ministry of Internal Affairs who shared memoirs on how at the beginning of our independence in Turkmenistan the national school of law-enforcement bodies problems of which included protection of public order and maintenance of public safety, preventive maintenance of crimes and their disclosing was created, also spoke. That difficult period of origin of the independent state a special role in formation of national law-enforcement system as executive power component played Malikguly-aga. Considering it, the council of veterans of the Ministry of Internal Affair made an offer in honour of merits of this remarkable person to institute a medal named after Mälikguly Berdymuhamedov. This offer will be directed for consideration in the Mejlis of Turkmenistan. At the presentation fragments from the new book were also read, its ideological, moral-patriotic value, depth of maintenance and artistic value was underlined. As its author, President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov marks in the book the meaning of life is learning. This thought became a philosophical leitmotif of the new edition. During the celebration song and musical performances of masters of culture and art took place. Songs by the verses of Mälikguly Berdymuhamedov written more of half a century back, but have not lost their urgencies, were performed.
