The fundamental scientific monograph ""Turkmenistan in the Epoch of Might and Happiness"", prepared for publication by the Archive of the President of Turkmenistan was published. The publication tells about the history of the formation of the sovereign and neutral state, successes for 25 years of independence. The monograph consists of 8 chapters and 43 paragraphs, the authors tried to reveal the rich content of the Epoch of Might and Happiness, its spirit and creative potential. The key issues of the state building, democratization of social and political life, the combination of real rights and freedom of citizens with their duties and responsibilities to the society are considered. A significant place is given to the aspects of accelerated development of the national economy and social sphere, spiritual and moral revival and improvement of people's well-being and creation of necessary conditions for harmonious education of the individual, successes of foreign policy and diplomacy of Turkmenistan. Particular attention is paid to highlight the core directions of ideology and the main principles of the policy of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov. The key ideas of the Turkmen leader, as set out in his reports, speeches and works, were widely used, in particular, in 9 volumes of selected works ""Towards new heights of progress"". The authors of the monograph also based on the provisions of the new edition of the country's Constitution adopted on September 14, 2016, statistical compilations, periodicals, scientific literature and other sources. The publication proves the thesis that the comprehensive progress of Turkmenistan due, first of all, to the universal policy and tireless activity of the Head of the state, to his integral, integrated approach to solving urgent problems of intensifying the domestic economy, improving the social conditions of the people, improving the spiritual life of the society, integration the country into the world system of coordinates. At the same time, according to the Leader of the nation, in all his affairs he invariably relies on the people's trust and support. The monograph, published in separate books in Turkmen and Russian, is intended for a wide range of readers.
