To improve crime control activities, anti-corruption, crime prevention and investigation measures, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov has signed a Decree on establishing the State Service of Turkmenistan for combating economic crimes. The new agency, jointly with the Ministry of Adalat (Ministry of Justice), is authorized to prepare and submit for consideration by the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan proposals on introducing the Decree-associated amendments to the legislation of Turkmenistan within one-month time space.
