New building of foreign-trade terminal of the State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange of Turkmenistan was put into exploitation in Serahs etrap of Akhal province. The representatives of sectoral departments, etrap and vilayet municipalities, and residents of the etrap became the participants of the opening ceremony of the terminal. Foreign-trade terminal is the large complex, containing administrative and economic buildings, post control, parking lots, technical blocks, hotel and canteen. On the territory of the complex, there is also an equipment for weighting of overall cargo. Terminal was erected to the order of the State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange dependent on it State Municipal Organization “Altyn-Zamana”. Export-oriented products of national production as well as import goods will be kept in 10 voluminous storage facilities. Four outdoor and two indoor storage facilities of the terminal are intended for cotton products. Two storages will keep products of textile industry of the country, including knitted wear, downy articles, washed sheep's, goat's, camel’s wool and many other. Another facility was allotted under storing of fruit and vegetable products. Here, it was also constructed spacious cold-storage establishment for products, which keeping conditions demand subzero temperatures.
