International Environmental Forum in Ashgabat timed to the World Environment Day

A series of events, timed to the World Environment Day, will be held with the participation of representatives of regional and international organizations, heads of ministries and departments of Central Asian countries, specialists in the field of environmental protection, water management, etc. In particular, Ashgabat will host the International Environmental Forum, and the meeting of the Interstate Commission for Sustainable Development of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea. In addition, it is planned to hold a meeting of the Governing Council of the Regional Environmental Center for Central Asia and the next meeting of the Regional Working Commission, which includes specialists in the water sector of the Central Asian states. Turkmenistan pays great attention to the complex solution of issues in the sphere of environmental protection, careful use of natural resources, including water, reduction of risks associated with climate change and introduction of innovative ""green"" technologies.
