The 16th International Universal Exhibition “White city – Ashgabat” has closed in the Exhibition Center of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. It showcased the capital city’s achievements in urban construction and untapped potential for its further development. The forum gains more and more popularity with every year. Representatives of domestic business circles and leading foreign companies, who see good prospects for Ashgabat’s development as a large international business and investment center, evince an increasing interest. The country’s state sectoral agencies and private enterprises presented the following thematic sections on their big display stands: urban construction and management system, utility facilities, transport and communications, the industrial sector, social infrastructure, building materials, municipal vehicles and equipment, ecology, landscaping and others. The exhibition has offered access to the latest and most interesting technologies that may be introduced in Turkmenistan in the near future. Held as part of the exhibition, business meetings focused on the issues of strengthening contacts and establishing new relations at sectoral and private business levels with world’s leading companies in urban construction. The multisectoral forum demonstrated actual results of the large-scale Ashgabat Redevelopment Program and its comprehensiveness, advantages of an integrated approach to social infrastructure development, landscaping, and modernization of municipal service and facilities on the whole. The exhibition presented an opportunity to get acquainted with achievements of our country’s and world’s building industry, modern, ecologically-clean technologies for the vital systems that support the life of the city.
