Asian Kickboxing championship finished in the Martial Arts Complex of the Olympic village. Turkmen sportsmen were the first in total count. Out compatriots won 27 gold, 25 silver and 23 bronze medals. Gulzada Jorakuliyeva was beyond the competition in full contact and low kick disciplines in weight category up to 65 kg and won two gold medals in the last day of the competitions. At the same day, Merdan Mamedov, Jelal Satguliyev, Gadam Abdiyev, Halmyrat Geldimamedov, Said Fakirov, Agamyrat Amangeldiyev, Muhammet Altybayev, Batry Chariyev, SHohrat Halliyev, Shohrat Yagmyrov and Farida Kutlymuradova added victories in the collection of the team. Iranian Kick boxers are on the second place with 22 gold medals in total count. Tajikistan is on the third place with 12 gold medals. The majority of the above-mentioned sportsmen are the fosters of Honoured Coach of Turkmenistan Alexander Snagovsky, who is the founder of Turkmen kickboxing school. Current success of Turkmen national team gives confidence that during V Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games, which programme includes kickboxing, our team will win plenty of different medals. In the time remaining until V Asian Games, our sportsmen will have to go to number of training camps including international ones. The work of volunteers catering these competitions is also worth attention. President of Asian Kickboxing Federation Nasiri expressed the gratitude to voluntary assistant for coordinated and operative work. The Head of competent international sport organization also mentioned high organizational abilities of Turkmen specialists and expressed the confidence that forthcoming large complex competitions in Ashgabat in September will be held on the level meeting modern requirements of the world’s sports.
