The championship of Turkmenistan in kabaddi has brought together in the capital sport centre ""Galkynysh"" teams of velayats (except Lebap) and Ashgabat city. We will especially note the semi-final duel between sportsmen of the capital and Mary region the basic time of which was completed in a draw - 76:76. During additional 5-minute time players of Ashgabat appeared stronger. The team game kabaddi has been included in the program of the summer Asian games. In Turkmenistan kabaddi is included in the federation of martial arts «hanmudo». Now Turkmen sportsmen prepare for the open championship of Balkan velayat which will take place in the late current month. Our sportsmen also plan to compete for medals of the championship of Asia in hand-to-hand fight that (Tajikistan) is planned to be held on May 12-14, in the city of Khojend.
