In the world mixed martial arts championship in the city of Antalya (Turkey) which brought together over thousands of sportsmen from 40 countries, Turkmen sportsmen won seven gold medals, one - silver and five - bronze. The best result was shown by master of sports, coach of the national federation of martial arts (hanmudo) Shohrat Allaev. Acting in various disciplines of this sport, he rose to the podium - three times at the higher step and once – to the third step. Our compatriot received two gold medals during duels under version MMA-light (facilitated combat version where juniors are also allowed to compete), and also in grappling (fighting style including techniques of all known kinds of fighting). In both cases Sh.Allaev acted in the weight category under 65 kg. He won one more ""gold"" medal by results of complex exercises with demonstration of techniques with nunchaku. And a bronze award was won by the Turkmen national in the classical version of demonstration performances. Each by one victory Shohrat and Mohammed Orazgeldiev, Hajy Movlamov and Yunus Gurbanmyradov who distinguished themselves in discipline «grappling». They became owners of one silver and three bronze medals accordingly to ММА (light and full). Twice Guvanch Movlamov became the bronze prize-winner in the same versions.
