Main Celebration of International Nowruz Day to Take Place on 21 March in Mary

The main celebration of international Nowruz day in Turkmenistan will take place on 21 March in the building “Türkmeniň ak öýi” (“the White House of Turkmens”) located in Mary’s administrative center. Special atmosphere of the event will be contributed by distinct traditions, festive rituals and rousing folk games. The multidimensional exhibition, also to be organized here, will display products of decorative and applied arts; items of museum value; printed products; and goods highlighting the achievements in the food industry and agriculture. The program of the event will include performances by dance and folk groups, and also by popular artists and bahshi. Participants and guests attending the celebration will be introduced to the process of cooking national dishes. The festival will be adorned with renowned Ahalteke horses. “Turkmenin ak oyi” will also host the concert by masters of culture.
