In the capital's Palace ""Mekan"" was held an event dedicated to the theme of healthy lifestyle. The propaganda action was attended by representatives of ministries and departments, public organizations and mass media, student youth. As emphasized in participants' speeches, care of people's health, its happy life is the top priority pursued by President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov socially-oriented policy. Effective measures are implemented to combat illicit trafficking of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances and of its prevention, treatment of drug addicts, get rid of bad habits, join a healthy lifestyle. Much work in this area is carried out in close cooperation with major international organizations. Turkmenistan takes a firm and principled position in the fight against this dangerous social evil, which is threat to all humanity. Successfully are implemented measures to curb the smuggling of narcotic drugs , their distribution and use. The work is being done complexly, with the cooperation of law enforcement, customs and border services, education and health institutions, public and media. Attention is paid to educational work about the dangers of drug use in order to eliminate addiction. The gathered noted in their presentations that the most important focus of efforts to protect against potential threats of our time is the wide development of sports and physical culture and mass movements, active promotion of healthy lifestyles. In the country the construction of modern sports and recreation centers, sports schools, stadiums and other buildings has deployed. Herewith the personal commitment of the Head of the State to the healthy lifestyle and active participation in sports is the best positive example for society, especially for young people, behind of which - the country's future.
