Co-organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and “Meridýen Uluslararasi Fuarçilik” Co. (Turkey), a traditional exhibition of export goods of the Republic of Turkey has opened in Ashgabat. To participate in the exhibition, over 160 representatives of Turkey’s government institutions, heads and specialists of 60 companies and firms arrived in the Turkmen capital. Among those attending the official opening ceremony were government officials, heads of ministries and agencies, members of the national parliament, representatives of the diplomatic missions, accredited to our country, businessmen, and the mass media. Staged in the Exhibition Hall of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the exhibition features a broad range of goods exported by Turkish producers, including packages of proposals for the heavy engineering industry, equipment and component parts for the industrial and agroindustrial sectors, building materials, household appliances and electronics equipment, detergents, various cosmetic products, household goods, and confectionery products. Among the exhibition participants are large producers of electric power equipment (“Elte Pano”, “Hascelik”), fire extinction and fire protection systems (“Duýar Vana”, “BAIS”), construction platforms (“Goçmaksan”). The building materials section also includes manufacturers of windows and doors (“Pakpen plastik boru”, “Em-Ka Çelik”), wall and roof sandwich-panel insulation materials (“Assan Panel”), modern built-in furniture and laminated panels (“Kastamonu”), aluminum structural shapes (“Hilal Alüminium”). The production of metal structures and component parts for different-type facilities, including sports complexes and stadiums, is presented by “Сuhadaroglu” and “EMS Plastik Boru”. An exhibition stand of “A.O.Smith” displays a wide spectrum of water supply systems, sewage and irrigation systems as well as water mineralization systems. Chillers, freezers and refrigerators from the manufacturing company, “Frigoblock Sogutma”, are well-known in Turkmenistan. Among first-time exponents are companies, which specialize in the production and supplies of equipment for packaging dairy products, vegetable oils, juices, fizzy drinks (“Ektam”, “Gemak Gida”). Firms, presenting samples of offset printed cardboard and corrugated packaging and food packaging film made of ecologically-clean materials (“Bak ambalaj”, “Biriz ambalaj”), are participating in the exhibition for the first time as well. “Ekip Spor” and “Feta” offer equipment and facilities for childcare institutions and schools, school and university laboratories, sports centers and sports grounds. State-of-the-art refrigerators, washing machines, gas and electric stoves, microwave ovens and ovens, heaters, water boilers, household appliances are being showcased by “Beko”, “Simfer”, “Itimat”, and others. On display is professional catering equipment from “Pimak”. A stand of Turkey’s biggest company, “Vestel”, is a big draw with its cutting-edge 4 K televisions which boast innovative design as well as modern household appliances. The exhibition also includes the other sections, such as the production of chemicals, detergents and cosmetic products. Large Turkish promotion companies and associations of industrialists, working in the same areas of specification, are also participants in the exhibition of the friendly country’s export goods. Producers of bulgur and macaroni products as well as those specializing in hazelnut processing are widely demonstrating their goods. Visitors have a chance to taste and admire the quality of confectionary products, including glazed chocolate-coated drops with fruit and nut filling (more than 150 varieties) (“Helis draje”). The Republic of Turkey is one of Turkmenistan’s biggest trade-economic partners. While taking active part in the implementation of large-scale programs ongoing in our country, Turkish business and core companies are enhancing cooperation in the construction sector, power industry, chemical and textile sectors, agriculture and food industry. The exhibition will be on view until February 23.
