Artists of our country successfully performed at the event “A New Cultural Journey along the Great Silk Road with the Song ‘Arirang’,” organized within the framework of the International Friendship Days in the Republic of Korea from 16 to 18 July of this year.

This event, which enriched the historically significant occasions of the year “Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses” with its meaningful content, became a vivid demonstration of the attention paid by the state to the development of national culture and art and to promoting them to the global level.

As a result of the successful continuation by Arkadagly Hero Serdar of the efforts of Hero-Arkadag to promote and popularize Turkmen art throughout the world, international cultural ties are steadily expanding and reaching new frontiers. This opens up broad opportunities for the comprehensive development of Turkmen art and for introducing the international community to the artistic heritage of the Turkmen people.

Senior Lecturer of the Maya Kuliyeva Turkmen National Conservatory B. Gayypov and artist of the Cultural Centre of the Charjev etrap of the Lebap velayat A. Jumayev, having successfully performed at the international song and music festival “A New Cultural Journey along the Great Silk Road with the Song ‘Arirang’” in the Republic of Korea, were awarded special commemorative distinctions.

The achievements of the masters of art of Turkmenistan at the international event held in the friendly country confirm that the efforts made by the state in the new historical era to provide creative professionals with every opportunity to produce outstanding works and participate in international competitions are yielding tangible results.

The Turkmen artists who participated in this year’s festival expressed their gratitude to Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar for creating the conditions that enable them to take part in international cultural events, promote the achievements of the Motherland, which is rapidly and confidently advancing toward new heights of development for the sake of the happy life of our people, and successfully implement its planned goals.
