Today, a ceremony honoring graduates of the Military Academy of Turkmenistan, which educates senior officers and staff, as well as higher education institutions that train specialists for the country’s military and law enforcement agencies in the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state, was held in the square in front of the Constitution Monument. In front of the majestic structure erected in honor of the country’s Basic Law, the graduates, embarking on a new life and career, solemnly swore an oath of allegiance to the military oath, expressing their readiness to live honestly, work, study, create, and stand guard over the Fatherland.

Before the main festivities began, ceremony participants laid flowers at the monuments to the renowned educator, brave warrior, and humanist Berdimuhamed Annayev, located at the Berdimuhamed Annayev Specialized Military School #1 of the Ministry of Defense, and to the grandfather of the head of state, honorary veteran of the internal affairs agencies, Myalikguly Berdimuhamedov. They also laid flowers at the foot of the monuments of the Halk Hakydasy Memorial Complex – “Ruhy Tagzym”, “Milletiň Ogullary”, and “Baky şöhrat”.

Then, the participants lined up in the square in front of the Monument to the Constitution of Turkmenistan, which traditionally became the venue for the ceremony presenting officer certificates to graduates. This significant day will forever remain in the memory of the young officers who dedicated their lives to defending their beloved homeland.

The National Anthem of Turkmenistan was played solemnly. As part of the implementation of large-scale military reform, a new generation of military personnel has emerged in the country, nurtured by the best examples of heroism of illustrious ancestors who left a significant mark on national and world history.

Innovative methods, multimedia equipment, and digital technologies are widely used in the educational process. Improving teaching through cutting-edge scientific advances increases cadets’ interest in learning.

At the same time, the focus on military-patriotic education of young people remains unchanged, calling them to become worthy successors to the best traditions of the Turkmen people.

Military pedagogy is based on the development and cultivation of moral and combat qualities, enhancing the prestige of the military profession, and instilling in young people a sense of responsibility for the fate of the sacred Fatherland and a desire to serve it faithfully.

The head of state’s message emphasizes that today the green Banner of our independent state flies high in the hands of the brave, courageous, and bold sons of the Motherland who have sworn an oath of service to the country. These sublime feelings should inspire you to reach new heights and achieve new goals in every endeavor and at every moment, for you are the descendants of our glorious ancestors, such as Oguz Khan, Bayram Khan, Togrul Bek, Chagry Bek, Alp Arslan, Soltan Sanjar, Soltan Jelal ed-Din, and Keymir Serdar. And therefore, it is your sacred duty to continue the school of courage of the brave defenders of the Motherland, adhering to their patriotic principles.

The President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General of the Army Serdar Berdimuhamedov, expressed confidence that young officers will vigilantly guard the peace of our society, protect the inviolability of our sacred borders, and become an invincible fortress and steel shield for our beloved Motherland, Turkmenistan. They will also demonstrate outstanding performance in their service and, if necessary, will selflessly and devotedly serve in the name of great and noble goals.

The ceremony participants listened attentively to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov’s Address.

Then, in a solemn ceremony, the graduates were presented with their officer certificates.

Filled with pride for their Fatherland, the young officers knelt before the State Flag of Turkmenistan and swore an oath of loyalty to the military oath, their selfless devotion to the Motherland, the people, and the President of the country, and their readiness to worthily continue the glorious military traditions of their valiant ancestors.

As the head of state emphasizes, “The Motherland is sacred: it contains everything the most precious that we exalt. To serve the Motherland, dedicate one’s life and destiny to its service, and wholeheartedly defend every inch of its sacred soil like the apple of one’s eye, remaining faithful to the military oath – this is a great honor. Our country is taking extensive measures to consistently improve the service and living conditions of law enforcement and defense personnel and their families. On the occasion of the Homeland Defender’s Day, widely celebrated in the year “Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses”, a clear demonstration of our concern for the valiant defenders of the country is the opening of new buildings and structures in military and law enforcement departments.”

It is the sacred duty of military and law enforcement officials, including young officers, to strictly adhere to the principles, implement the goals and objectives of the Fatherland’s Defensive Military Doctrine, preserve national values, protect the peaceful and happy lives of citizens and their creative labor, and uphold the rule of law in society. Speaking about this, the President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General of the Army Serdar Berdimuhamedov, in his Address, wished the graduates tireless energy in ensuring the reliable protection of the independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of the sovereign Fatherland, its defense capability, the inviolability of the state border, national security and peace in society, strengthening law and order, and great success in their responsible service.

The festive atmosphere of the event and the enthusiasm of graduates from the Military Academy of Turkmenistan and military higher education institutions were enhanced by demonstration of performances by the Honor Guard and a literary and musical composition.

The participants of the ceremony adopted a message of gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General of the Army Serdar Berdimuhamedov, expressing their deep appreciation for his tireless care for the military and law enforcement personnel. In their message, the defenders of the Fatherland pledged to follow the heroic path of their courageous ancestors, devoting all their efforts, knowledge, and skills to being worthy of their glory and the high trust of the President of the country, and to faithfully defend every inch of sacred land.

Following the ceremony honoring graduates of the Military Academy and military universities, the National Anthem of Turkmenistan has been performed.

The subsequent parade march of the event’s participants symbolized a significant moment for the graduates who have earned the noble title of Defender of the Motherland and linked their destinies with service to the Fatherland. Faithful to their oath, educated, highly qualified, courageous, and dedicated to their chosen profession, the military servicemen are the strength of the National Army; they are entrusted with the defense of the Motherland!
