Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held an online working meeting with participation of Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet T.Atahallyev and khyakims of velayats to consider the issues of development of the agricultural complex of the country and course of seasonal activities in regions.

Khyakim of Akhal velayat T.Nurmyradov, who reported on the paces of agricultural campaigns in the region, was first given the floor.

As he informed, activities aimed at providing proper care of wheat fields are at the closing stage. In addition, they prepare for gathering and storage of seed grain.

In the cotton fields of the velayat, watering and interrow cultivation, thinning and weeding are carried out.

With a view of successful solution of goals on the further strengthening of food abundance in the country, due care is also given to spring crops in the region.

Besides it, cattle-breeding economies conduct well-organized campaigns for obtain lambs and youngs of camels.

Within the season of production of cocoons, at present, tenants carry out proper care of silkworms.

The khyakim also reported on the paces of construction of social, cultural and industrial projects planned to be commissioned into operation in the velayat in the current year within the national rural redevelopment program.

Having heard the report, the President of Turkmenistan pointed out the significance of observance of agro-technical standards in seasonal activities in agricultural fields of the region, in particular, in care of cotton and wheat fields and appropriate preparation for the harvest season and gave the khyakim corresponding instructions to that end.

Besides it, the head of the state instructed him to keep control over the timely and qualitative performance of the works planned for this year in the velayat according to programs of social and economic development of the country.

Then, khyakim of Balkan velayat Kh. Ashyrmyradov reported on the course of current agricultural campaigns in the region.

As he informed, at present, care of wheat fields provided in the velayat is at the closing stage and proper measures are taken to collect seed grain according to the established requirements, and prepare reception points and storage facilities.

In the cotton fields, interrow cultivation, thinning and weeding activities continue.

In addition, seasonal agro-technical activities go on in the fields of the velayat sown with potato, vegetables and gourds.

In cattle-breeding economies of the region, the production plan for lambs and youngs of camels is successfully executed.

Within the season of cocoon production, tenant-silkworm growers continue care of silkworms.

He also reported on the course of construction of social, cultural and industrial projects planned to open in the velayat the current year.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov marked the necessity of the qualitative and organised conduction of seasonal agricultural work, effective involvement of powerful machinery and maintenance of a high level of readiness for the beginning of the wheat harvest and gave the khyakim corresponding instructions to that end.

Besides it, the head of the state instructed him to hold the quality of construction of the projects to be commissioned in the velayat this year under strict control.

Further, khyakim of Dashoguz velayat D.Babayev reported on the course of agricultural work in the region.

As he informed, within the seasonal agricultural activities carried out in the velayat, in the wheat fields due care is provided and vegetative watering are carried out according to agro-technical standards. Proper measures are taken to prepare for gathering and appropriate storage of seed wheat.

In the region, the cotton sowing continues and in the fields where uniform shoots were obtained, interrow cultivation, weeding and thinning are carried out.

In the fields of the velayat sown with potato, vegetables and gourds, due care and irrigation are carried out according to agro-technical standards.

With a view of successful fulfilment of the cocoon production plan, nowadays tenant-silkworm breeders continue care of silkworms.

The khyakim also informed on full fulfilment of the established plan for production of lambs and youngs of camels in cattle-breeding economies of the velayat.

Besides it, he reported on the course of construction of social, cultural and industrial projects to be commissioned in the region this year according to programs of social and economic development of the country.

Summing up the report, the President of Turkmenistan noted the importance of due agro-technical care of agricultural crops, first of all, of cotton and wheat fields, which demand special attention, and preparation for the grain-harvesting season and gave the khyakim a number of instructions to that end.

As he informed, in the wheat fields vegetative watering is carried out. Reception points are completely prepared for gathering and storage of seed grain. At present, harvesting combines and trucks are in an appropriate operational condition.

In the cotton fields, watering, and interrow cultivation, thinning and weeding activities are carried out.

Along with it, in the fields of the velayat sown with spring potato, fruits and vegetables due care is provided.

Cattle-breeding economies of the region successfully fulfilled the production plan for lambs and youngs of camels. At present, appropriate care is given for their proper growth.

Within the cocoon production season silkworm breeders work to yield the high harvest of cocoons.

Khyakim of Mary velayat D.Annaberdiev reported on current seasonal agricultural campaigns in the region.

As he informed, in the wheat fields watering and soil top dressing by mineral fertilizers proceed. Along with it, corresponding measures are taken to prepare grain reception points, grain elevators, harvesting combines and other motor transport facilities for the grain-harvesting season. Besides it, due steps are implemented for gathering and appropriate storage of seed wheat.

In the cotton fields, interrow cultivation, thinning and weeding are carried out.

In the fields sown with spring potato, fruits and vegetables, proper care is given to crops according to agro-technical standards.

In cattle-breeding economies cattle breeders work hard to increase the livestock of cattle and volumes of production.

Having heard the report, the head of the state noted the importance of conduction of current seasonal work in the wheat and cotton fields at a high qualitative and organizational level, emphasized the necessity of effective operation of agricultural machinery, and appropriate preparation for the grain-harvesting season, and gage the khyakim corresponding instructions.

Along with it, the President of Turkmenistan instructed him to keep control over the maintenance of quality of civil work at building sites , which according to programs of social and economic development of the country, are planned for putting in operation in the velayat the current year.

Having heard the report, the President of the country focused attention on an important role of agricultural branch in national economy and in that regard, instructed the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet to provide fulfilment of activities for care of cotton and wheat fields in strict conformity with agro-technical standards and prepare for the grain-harvesting season.

Then, the head of Turkmenistan, addressing participants of the working meeting, once again underlined the importance of current agricultural work and instructed them to take necessary measures for the organised conduction of cocoon production season and campaigns for lambs and youngs of camels production.
