The participation in the event of a delegation headed by Member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, First Vice Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China Ding Xuexiang, became another indication of the continued strengthening of humanitarian cooperation between the two countries.
As noted in the speeches delivered during the ceremony, the comprehensive modernization of the education and science sectors in the era of the Revival of the new epoch of a powerful state is among the key priorities of Turkmenistan’s state policy. Strengthening the sectoral base and training highly qualified specialists are essential conditions for the country’s sustainable development and for reaching new heights.
In this regard, great importance is attached to studying advanced international experience and developing effective partnerships with foreign counterparts in the fields of science and education. An important role in this process is played by the country’s educational and scientific diplomacy, initiated by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Hero-Arkadag, and successfully implemented under the leadership of Serdar Berdimuhamedow.
Particular importance in Turkmenistan is attached to strengthening cooperation with China in the fields of education and high technologies. In this context, it was emphasized that the establishment of the “Luban Workshop” in the country will contribute to the training of highly qualified personnel and will serve as an important platform for enhancing humanitarian ties and exchanging experience between the two nations.
The Center is equipped with modern facilities, providing students and young researchers with broad opportunities to study the experience of Chinese specialists in geology, drilling operations, and information systems.
