At 7:00 on March 29, 2026, voting began at all 578 polling stations for the election of members of the halk maslahaty of the newly formed etraps, as well as for the place of prematurely drop out of deputies of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, members of the velayat, etrap, city halk maslahaty and Gengesh. Voting on the elections will end at 19:00.

357.666 – were registered for the election of members of the halk maslahaty of the newly formed etraps, 140.211 – for the election of deputies of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, 52.296 – for the election of members of the velayat halk maslahaty and the city of Ashgabat, 43.693 – for the election of the etrap, city halk maslahaty and 109.027 – for the election of members of the Gengesh.
