Today, the capital city hosted the opening of the large-scale exhibition timed to the 18th anniversary of the foundation of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan. The exposition organized in spacious halls of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, visually displays a dynamic development of national entrepreneurship in the Era of Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state.
An all-around development of entrepreneurship in Turkmenistan and enhancement of the role of the private sector at the expense of wide introduction of modern market mechanisms are one of the priority areas of the social and economic policy initiated by National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Hero-Arkadag and nowadays successfully realised by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
According to government programs, a special role is attached to entrepreneurship in industrialisation of the country, realisation of large-scale projects and manufacture of competitive production in the world market. Thanks to the all-round state support to the private sector, Turkmenistan turns into an industrially developed state with a powerful industrial basis.
In recent years, the country has taken considerable steps to encourage small and medium size businesses. The favourable legal, economic and financial conditions were created: tax system was improved, procedures of registration and business licensing were simplified, customs processes for production export were accelerated and easy term loans were given to businessmen.
Using these possibilities, representatives of the private sector actively participate in various branches of national economy, making a weighty contribution to its development. Today’s exhibition also visually speaks of the fact.
Today, Turkmenistan is widely known as the country with huge potential in manufacture of high-quality production and competitive services. The label «Made in Turkmenistan» becomes an important symbol to strengthen the authority of our fatherland in the global trade space. It not only specifies in goods’ origin, but also serves as a quality assurance and reliability of national manufacturers. The far-sightedness of the initiative is completely proved by reached strategic successes, which find reflexion in production presented by members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.

The Chairwoman of the Mejlis, deputy-chairmen of the Cabinet, heads and representatives of ministries and sectoral departments, foreign companies, diplomatic corps and international structures accredited in Turkmenistan, public organisations and mass media took part in the opening ceremony of the exhibition.
In the solemnity, the welcoming message of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to participants of the exhibition and International forum «Investments into the future of Turkmenistan» was read out.
In his message, the head of the state underlined that development of the private sector of the country is one of the priorities of national economy. In the current year marked by the 35th anniversary of great independence, large events, which as whole display considerable achievements of members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan from the moment of sovereign development of our fatherland will be organised.
«In the present period, Turkmen entrepreneurs carry out a large scale work to realise the policy of the state in the field of scientific-technological reforms, widely using possibilities of digital economy and to develop industry, agriculture and sphere of services according to modern requirements. Our private manufacturers, who have become a driving force of the new economic area, realise strategically important projects, making their big contribution to development of national economy and increase of well-being of people. In the private sector, modern manufactures focused on release of import replacing, competitive and export-focused production, which promote creation of new workplaces, and strengthening of food and commodity abundance in the country, are put into operation.
In the year «Independent neutral Turkmenistan - the homeland of purposeful winged racers» our entrepreneurs, having united, confidently follow by the path of progress. As a result of their activity to modernise business environment and expand the scope of small, medium and large businesses, the private sector share steadily grows in economy », - the head of the state pointed out.
The congratulatory message of the President of Turkmenistan added a special importance to the event. And performances of creative groups attached festive colours.
Then, participants of the ceremony familiarised themselves with the large-scale exhibition reflecting achievements of the private sector.
Today's exhibition serves as a clear acknowledgement of the fact that the country’s private sector turns into a powerful creative force successfully mastering modern technologies and innovative management methods. This year hundreds of companies representing various branches of national economy take part in the exhibition.
The monitor displays the information on results of work and achievements of members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of the country for 18 years, and certificates and diplomas, which representatives of the private sector have received.
The substantial growth of number of members of the Union in the past years and success of their initiatives, expansion of the sphere of their activity became possible thanks to the conditions created by the state and the policy pursued in this area. Numerous national trademarks presented at the exhibition also clearly attest to the fact. Visitors of the exhibition witnessed embodiment of the wise principle of the state policy «State - for people!», laid in the basis of the social and economic policy of the country, into life.
In the pavilion devoted to the construction industry, enterprises "Derýaplastik" and «Ak bulut» represent innovative solutions actively applied in implementation of programs of town planning. High-quality finishing materials manufactures by them, false ceilings and polymeric pipes correspond to high quality world standards that testifies to technological progress of local business.
The expositions displaying the contribution of businessmen in development of digital economy deserve a special attention. New models of TVs, computers, systems of illumination and other electronic technics from the company «Aýdyň gijeler» - a bright example of successful realisation of the goals put by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on digitalization of all spheres of the state and public life.
The pavilions devoted to agriculture, testify to the consecutive strengthening of food abundance in the country. Large-scale enterprises «Nurly meýdan» and «Sahabatly» represent poultry farming and animal industries production. Today, these enterprises not only provide the internal demand, but also confidently enter international markets.
Stands of manufacturers of confectionery please eyes with the diversity of their production. Exhibits of companies "Hasar" and «Misgär» are especially singled out. Application of international standards of safety in manufacture of foodstuff allows Turkmen businessmen to compete with famous world brands successfully. International certificates of ISO and HACCP of the enterprises of our country testifies to high quality and ecological safety of their food production.
In the sphere of chemical industry, private enterprises show achievements in manufacture of household and specialized chemistry. Stands with liquid organic mineral fertilizers and humic preparations made from local raw materials and intended for agriculturists also evoke an interest in visitors.
In the pavilions devoted to manufacture of furniture and the household goods, one can see production combining national traditions with modern design solutions. The great skill of specialists and use of non-polluting materials make these products highly demanded ones on the market.
Expositions of light industry show clothes and textiles, in which Turkmen ornaments and modern world tendencies harmoniously intertwine. The private sewing enterprises successful master manufacture of production under national brands.
On platforms where achievements of medical industry are presented, the special attention is given to possibilities of the medical cluster in Arkadag city. There, one can familiarise with products of enterprises, specialising in production of medial preparations.
