Industrial policy of Turkmenistan is aimed at the innovative development, assurance of high level competitiveness of the national economy. To strengthen the position of industrial domestic goods at the world market, modernization of processing enterprises is carried out in the country, it is introduced high performance technology that allows to gradually increase manufacture of high quality export-oriented and import substitution products. This is evidenced by the indicators over the past first month of the year. Thus, as for enterprises of the Ministry of Industry of Turkmenistan, the production plan for January of 2017 was implemented by 127.5 percent, the Ministry of Textile Industry – 113,8 percent (5.4 percent increase, compared to January of 2016). The enterprises of the “Turkmenhaly” State Association fulfilled the plan for January by 102.8 percent, growth reached 2.8 percent. During the period under review, the “Turkmenhimiya” State Concern executed its production plan by 109.2 percent. According to the State Fishery Committee, production figures increased by 4.7 percent.
