Today, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Hero-Arkadag, arrived in the city of Arkadag, which serves as a vivid demonstration of the success of the urban development program being implemented in our country and fully meets modern requirements and international standards. Hero-Arkadag familiarized himself with facilities of various purposes being constructed in the new city, in particular the modernized avenue, bridges, and road transport infrastructure facilities, and held a working meeting with the relevant officials.

At present, throughout the country, attention at the state level is devoted to the construction of various facilities that combine the traditions of national architecture with advanced architectural practices, ensuring the development of villages and cities in accordance with modern standards. This is clear evidence that, thanks to the consistent efforts of the President of Turkmenistan and Hero-Arkadag, our Motherland is developing harmoniously in all spheres.

Early in the morning, Hero-Arkadag inspected a modern bridge located at the intersection of the Gokdepe and Akhan avenues. Currently, in the city of Arkadag, as throughout the country, great importance is attached to the construction of road and transport infrastructure facilities, as well as to their comfort and durability. A comprehensive approach is applied to the arrangement of these facilities and the adjacent territories.

Noting that the construction of this engineering structure is a vivid embodiment of the grand objectives set by the President of Turkmenistan within the framework of the Program “Revival of the New Era of the Powerful State: National Program for the Socio-Economic Development of Turkmenistan for 2022–2052,” Hero-Arkadag emphasized that the construction of buildings, roads, and bridges has historically been considered a noble endeavor by our people.

Taking an interest in the bridge supports and their strength, Hero-Arkadag, after expressing several remarks regarding their quality and structure, gave a number of recommendations. As noted, during the construction of road and transport infrastructure along major highways, it is necessary to take into account that heavy freight vehicles will use these routes.

Continuing, Hero-Arkadag emphasized that modern requirements should be observed when creating green zones in the territory adjacent to the bridge. Taking into account the interconnection between the city and the road, and the fact that the majestic buildings of the city of Arkadag are clearly visible from the new transport bridge, great importance must be given to the strength of the structures and their decorative features.

Emphasizing the importance of high-quality construction work, Hero-Arkadag proceeded to the center of the new city. At present, a modern urban development program is being successfully implemented here, as a result of which the appearance of the city is becoming more beautiful with each passing day.

Along the route, Hero-Arkadag made a stop near residential buildings being constructed as part of the second phase of the city’s development, where particular importance is attached to the construction of industrial and residential facilities. This is essential for creating new jobs in the city and ensuring favorable living conditions for its population.

Drawing attention to the need to equip facilities, especially educational institutions and medical centers, in accordance with modern requirements, Hero-Arkadag noted the importance of actively using innovative technologies and the capabilities of the digital system, and issued relevant recommendations in this regard.

Subsequently, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, Hero-Arkadag, held a working meeting attended by the Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of the City of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan, D. Orazov, and the Hakim of the City of Arkadag, G. Mammedova.

The meeting discussed the progress of work being carried out within the framework of the second stage of the development of the city of Arkadag, as well as issues related to accelerating the pace of construction of various types of buildings and the introduction of the digital system.

The Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of the City of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan, D. Orazov, first of all warmly congratulated the Head of State and Hero-Arkadag on the Defender of the Fatherland Day, which is widely celebrated in the country. Detailed information was also presented on the current situation in the city, in particular on the construction of Ahal-Teke atlary Avenue, the sculptures of horses planned to be installed along the road, and the features of their placement.

As noted, within the framework of the second phase of the construction of the city of Arkadag, in accordance with relevant Decrees of the President of Turkmenistan, a total of more than 220 social, cultural, and industrial facilities are being constructed. Particular attention is being paid to the construction, in line with international standards, of general education schools, kindergartens, as well as 5-, 7-, and 9-story apartment buildings, where all conditions for comfortable living are being created.

At the same time, it was noted that the construction of social and cultural facilities is being carried out at an accelerated pace. On behalf of the city’s residents, the Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of the City of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan, D. Orazov, expressed gratitude to Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar for the constant support provided by the state and for ensuring comfortable living conditions in residential buildings.

Honored Architect of Turkmenistan Hero-Arkadag emphasized that, guided by the Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the socio-economic development of the country for 2022–2028, the work being carried out must comply with modern requirements and high international standards. As noted, an important condition is the effective use of advanced global practices and the achievements of modern science. Hero-Arkadag also stressed that, when introducing the digital system, its convenience and accessibility must be taken into account. All social and cultural facilities and buildings should be provided with these capabilities.

Hero-Arkadag also emphasized the importance of studying citizens’ views and public opinion regarding the conditions created in residential buildings under construction in the new city, the color schemes of their finishing, lighting, and other aspects. This is important for future building projects and for increasing their comfort in accordance with the national spirit of our people.

At the same time, the premises of educational institutions and schools must be equipped in accordance with the subjects taught there. This is relevant, as when choosing a profession, young people should strengthen their love for it and expand their knowledge, said Hero-Arkadag, giving instructions based on many years of experience.

Then, the Hakim of the City of Arkadag, G. Mammedova, reported on the measures being taken to organize the celebration of upcoming significant dates at a proper level. As noted, in the city of Arkadag, in addition to festivities of great importance in the life of the country, work is underway to relocate residents to new homes.

Hero-Arkadag emphasized that issues of comfortable living, full-fledged recreation, and the creation of new jobs are currently at the center of constant state attention. At the same time, the work must be carried out in accordance with established requirements and completed within the designated timeframes.

Expressing dissatisfaction with the sluggishness and improper organization of activities carried out by the hakimlik in recent times, Hero-Arkadag stressed that work in this area must be conducted in accordance with modern requirements, and that issues of landscaping and cleanliness in the new city should remain in the spotlight, with strengthened control in this direction going forward.

At the same time, noting the need to make efforts to ensure a worthy celebration of festive events and important dates in the new city and the active participation of residents, especially youth, Hero-Arkadag emphasized that a tremendous amount of work must be accomplished during the year whose motto is “Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses”.

In conclusion of the working meeting, Hero-Arkadag, having familiarized himself with the progress of work in the new city, emphasized that the pace of the planned construction must correspond to the motto of this year. It is also necessary to ensure high quality and the timely completion of the construction of buildings.
