Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in the awarding ceremony of representatives of the youth who have taken prize-winning places in the international subject Olympiads and sports competitions as well as their teachers and coaches. The solemn event organised in the Sports complex of martial arts of the capital Olympic village clearly attested to the great honour of the state attached to the citizens who bring a powerful contribution to augmentation of the authority of our fatherland on the world scene.

The chairwoman of the Mejlis, deputy-chairmen of the Cabinet, heads of military and law enforcement bodies, ministries and departments, khyakim of Ashgabat city, heads and representatives of diplomatic representatives and consular establishments of Turkmenistan abroad, permanent missions of our country at the international organisations accredited in Turkmenistan, diplomatic representative offices of foreign states and agencies of the international organisations took part in the awarding ceremony. Among the gathered - deputies of the national parliament, heads of public organisations, rectors of higher educational schools, and heads of national sports federations, representatives of mass-media, prize-winners of the international subject Olympiads and sports competitions, their parents, teachers and coaches as well as the student youth.

Today, in Turkmenistan a huge significance is attached to consecutive development and perfection of science, education and sports as well as other spheres.

Under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, who worthily continues grandiose undertakings of Hero-Arkadag, every day of the International year of peace and trust of the Era of Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state is marked by remarkable achievements and events, which enter in the modern annals of our native land with golden letters.

In our country, which confidently follows the path of progress, one of the priorities of the state policy is development and perfection of the national education system. Big possibilities are created for education of the physically strong, well-read younger generation with fundamental scientific knowledge and a broad outlook on the basis of latest technologies, innovative solutions and others. In this plan, complex reforms defined by target programs, strategies, which are both based on national and advanced world practice, are successfully carried out.

One should also point out a regular modernisation of the material and technical basis of national education. So, according to the Program «Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state: National program of social and economic development of Turkmenistan in 2022-2052» and «Program of the President of Turkmenistan for social and economic development of the country in 2022-2028», construction of new buildings of educational institutions equipped with modern computers, laboratory equipment, interactive and multimedia technologies proceeds.

On the recommendation of Hero-Arkadag and on the instructions of the head of the state in our country optimum conditions are provided for all-round education of schoolchildren, revealing of their abilities and potential.

Great efforts are made to train young highly skilled specialists on the basis of modern knowledge in the higher and secondary professional educational institutions. Thus, in the context of development of national economy, a well-organised work is carried out to strengthen interrelation of science and education and activization of scientific and creative activity of students under the supervision of skilled teachers and professors.

As to the sports sphere, our country is focused on achievement of considerable successes on the international scene. In this context, development of mass physical training and professional sports in Turkmenistan as well as organization of the events aimed at recognition of principles of healthy way of life in society, are constantly in the centre of attention of the program strategy initiated by National Leader of the Turkmen people Hero-Arkadag and nowadays realised under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. The young people of our native land, who increase the authority of the country on the world scene, are greatly honoured today.

The state allocates a great deal of funds for construction of modern sports objects intended for Olympic sports as well as for training of sportsmen, coaches and other profile specialists.

In our country, wide possibilities are opened for development of sports movement. In all velayats, sports and horse-racing complexes, multipurpose stadiums, sport schools and other objects, including the equipment, corresponding to requirements of the time were erected.

Besides it, in the capital as well as in velayat centres, specialised medical, health improving and diagnostic centres equipped with latest technologies of leading world manufacturers were constructed and placed into operation. Impressing successes were gained in development of the advanced sports infrastructure answering to the international standards as a result.

In this plan, as a concrete example one cite the city of Arkadag constructed on the basis of innovative solutions where various sports objects - multipurpose sport centre, a complex of water sports, stadium for 10 thousand spectators as well as the central administrative board for physical culture and sports of the first "smart city" of our country were created.

Creation of the football team in Arkadag city where there are many opportunities for development of various sports, including football, became a significant event in the sports life of our fatherland in 2023.

Along with sports of highest achievements in Turkmenistan, a special significance is attached to popularisation of the national sports, which are an integral component of the rich heritage of Turkmen people.

Increasing their skills allows local sportsmen to perform and achieve successfully good results at large international competitions and tournaments, including in championships of Asia and the world. Thanks to their impressing achievements, the green Banner of our country proudly flies high in the sky, increasing the prestige and authority of our independent Turkmenistan on the world scene. In turn, our sovereign fatherland highly appreciates and honours its outstanding sons and daughters at the state level.

... In the morning, the car of the head of the state approached the front entrance of the Sports complex of martial arts of the Olympic village of the capital.

There, Arkadagly Hero Serdar was welcomed by the chairwoman of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, deputy-chairmen of the Cabinet, heads of military and law enforcement bodies as well as the khyakim of Ashgabat city.

The head of the state enters into the building of the Sports complex of martial arts and is acquainted with the exhibition organised in its foyer.

There, the awards of various degrees won at prestigious international competitions, the sports equipment made for our sportsmen at textile enterprises of the country as well as works of fine arts, decorative and applied arts were displayed.

The exhibits presented at the exhibition visually showing achievements of our fatherland in sports, allow estimating the level of training of their owners.

Various awards, including medals, cups, certificates of honour and others, confirm ability of sportsmen of national teams to represent worthily our country at large competitions of international, world and regional levels.

All this fully testifies to high achievements of Turkmenistan thanks to large-scale undertakings of Hero-Arkadag, which consistently proceed in the Era of Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state under the leadership of Arkadagly Hero Serdar. So, within radical reforms all over the country numerous sports facilities with modern conditions answering to the international standards for effective practice of physical culture and sports were created. In turn, it promotes achievement of big successes in formation of the inspired, healthy, well-educated, hardworking, patriotic generation committed to principles of humanism with a broad outlook.

There, on several monitors, video clips with shots of performances of our sportsmen at the international competitions as well as the work devoted to stimulation of physical training and sports movement and recognition of principles of healthy way of life in society were presented.

The exhibition, which visually displayed achievements in the national sphere of sports, testifies to formation of the new generation of talented youth, who brings a worthy contribution to augmentation of the sports prestige of our country thanks to the state support of physical training and health improving movement and sports of highest achievements.

Then, in the conference hall of the Sports complex of martial arts of the Olympic village, a basic solemn event started.

Workers of culture and art also prepared their creative gift on the occasion of the significant event. Demonstrative performances of sportsmen in different sports also took place.

The inspiring performances of actors and creative groups glorified successes of our fatherland in development of mass physical culture and sports. These achievements became possible thanks to special attention of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to education of the well-educated young people with fundamental scientific knowledge, realisation of sports potential of the country and care of the head of the state of the health and well-being of our people.

During demonstrative performances, skilled and young sportsmen displayed their skill in performance of various exercises that became an indicator of their abilities and skills allowing representing Turkmenistan properly at the international sports competitions.

Then, Arkadagly Hero Serdar addressed participants of the event.

Having noted that in the Era of Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state, an essential role is attached to young citizens and therefore, in the country all conditions answering to the present time are created for them, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov underlined that the talent, knowledge and abilities of the happy youth increase the authority of our state. As Arkadagly Hero Serdar underlined, the work on development of spheres of science, education and sports to assist and support the talented youth and skilled sportsmen will be continued.

Then, the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan on awarding the youth, who won prize-winning places in the world subject Olympiads and their teachers was read out.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov handed costly presents to schoolchildren and the students, who won prize-winning places in the world subject Olympiads and to their teachers as well as sportsmen and their trainers, who won prize-winning places at international sports competitions.

By the way, in making the list for nomination of schoolchildren of our country who within 2025 have successfully performed in the prestigious international subject Olympiads and have won prize-winning places, for state awards, the level and importance of these Olympiads in operating ratings as well as quantity of the countries participating in them were considered.

So, the International mathematical Olympiad (IMO) for schoolchildren are one of the oldest international subject Olympiads. It is known as the most prestigious in the world competition in mathematics. From July 5 to July 14, 2025 in Sunshine Coast city of the Commonwealth of Australia the 66^th International mathematical Olympiad was held. 630 gifted schoolchildren from 110 states took part in the world competition, including 6 talented schoolchildren from Turkmenistan. Following the results of the intellectual competition, our young compatriots won 2 silver and 1 bronze medals.

The international chemistry Olympiad (IChO) - one of the most prestigious competitions for schoolchildren in the given subject. In it, theoretical and practical knowledge in chemistry of talented schoolchildren from different countries is estimated. In Dubai (United Arab Emirates) on July 5-14 of the current year, the 57^th International chemistry Olympiad was organized with participation of 354 children from 90 states of the world and 4 representatives of our country also took part in it. Following the results of the Olympiad, our compatriots were awarded 1 silver and 1 bronze medals.

One of the most prestigious scientific competitions in the world is also the International physics Olympiad (IPhO) for schoolchildren. In the 55^th International physics Olympiad, which took place on July 17-24, 2025 in Paris (the French Republic), 415 talented schoolchildren from 94 states of the world, including 5 talented schoolchildren from Turkmenistan took part. Following the results of the intellectual competition, our young compatriots were awarded 2 silver and 2 bronze medals.

In making the list of nomination of students of higher educational institutions of our country who have successfully performed and won prize-winning places at prestigious international subject competitions in 2025, for awarding at the state level, the level and the current rating of these competitions as well as quantity of states-participants were taken into consideration.

For example, the 32^nd International mathematical Olympiad for students of higher educational institutions (32^nd International Mathematical Competition for University Students, IMC-2025) became the competition, which was selected for 1^st level. It is known as one of the biggest competitions in the given subject, held among students of higher educational schools. It is remarkable that IMC has entered into the prestigious Moscow international rating «Three missions of the university» which is published since 2017. In the 32^nd International mathematical Olympiad, which took place from July 28 – August 3, 2025 in the city of Blagoevgrad (Republic of Bulgaria), 434 students from 52 countries took part. In it, groups (7 persons), made of students of Turkmen state university named after Magtymguly, the International university for humanities and development, Turkmen state architecture and construction institute, Turkmen state teacher training institute named after Seyitnazar Seydi and the State energy institute of Turkmenistan, which won 2 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze medals, have successfully performed.

The competition selected for II level, - V International Olympiad in financial security among students of higher educational schools, took place on September 28 - October 3 of the current year in the city of Krasnoyarsk (Russian Federation). It united about 600 students from 40 countries of the world. In the final stage of the intellectual competition, 10 students representing higher educational institutions of our country took part. From them, in discipline "Economy" the student of the International University for humanities and development was awarded 1 place and the Cup, students of Turkmen state institute of economy and management, Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the International Academy of Horse Breeding named after Aba Annayev won 2 places. Students of Turkmen state university named after Magtymguly occupied 2 places in disciplines "Information security" and «International relations».

Among the competitions, which were selected for III level, it is possible to mention the ХIХ the International Olympiad in theoretical mechanics among students of the higher educational institutions, held on April 8-14, 2025 in the city of Gomel (Byelorussia). In it, about 110 students from 31 higher educational schools of the world took part. The group of our young compatriots (3 students) took part in this International subject competition, representing the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan, the second year student occupied the 3^rd place.

The international chemistry Olympiad organized by Magtymguly Turkmen state university is one of the largest similar competitions held in our country. Every year this subject competition finds an increasing prestige, its scales extend. In the IV International chemistry Olympiad among the student's youth, which took place on October 15-17, 2025, about 250 students from 50 higher educational schools representing 12 countries of the world, including 150 students from Turkmenistan took part. Two students of MTSU were awarded gold medals.

During the awarding ceremony, Arkadagly Hero Serdar awarded each of the schoolchildren who won in the international Olympiads the 3^rd place and bronze medals, - a monetary prize in the amount of 40 thousand manats and each of the schoolchildren who won the 2^nd place and a silver medal, - a monetary prize in the amount of 70 thousand manats.

Awards were handed to our young compatriots representing our independent neutral country in prestigious international intellectual competitions, taking into account their big contribution to popularisation of high boundaries reached in the system of national education in the Era of Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state all over the world. Merits of their teachers in the given area were also noted properly.

In their speeches, talented schoolchildren of schools, students and their teachers, who were awarded prizes, expressed deep gratitude to Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar for present remarkable event – awarding ceremony, and wishes of sound health, longevity and the further outstanding successes in their large-scale state activity.

As was marked, every day of the International year of peace and trust of the Era of Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, who worthily continues grandiose undertakings of Hero-Arkadag, is marked by impressing successes and reached high boundaries in the education sphere and sciences.

The head of the state in solemn conditions awarded each of sportsmen who took the second places and received silver medals, a monetary prize in the amount of 70 thousand manats.

The President of Turkmenistan also awarded each of the coaches who have trained sportsmen, who won silver and gold medals in the international sports competitions, a cash prize in the amount of 70 thousand manats. Then, the major moment of the event started – Arkadagly Hero Serdar awarded sportsmen who won gold medals in world large scale tournaments, and handed each of them keys to the car mark «Toyota Camry HEV 2.5L» of white colour of the year 2025.

Thanks to these sportsmen who have risen on the higher step of the podium, at prestigious international competitions, the National anthem of our independent, permanently neutral Turkmenistan sounded and the green Banner of our fatherland flied high in the sky.

The President of Turkmenistan according to the signed Decree, to each of the coaches, who trained the sportsmen who have won gold medals at international competitions handed keys to the car mark «Toyota Camry HEV 2.5L» of white colour of the year 2025.

These awards were handed considering the personal contribution of young sportsmen and skilled coaches in increase of sports prestige of Turkmenistan, representing our country in world tournaments, augmentation of enthusiasm of the youth in sports in the Era of Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state as well as tremendous successes of our sportsmen in the international competitions in various sports and merits of their trainers in the given area in 2025 - the International year of peace and trust.

The awarded sportsmen and their trainers expressed their sincere words of gratitude to the head of the state and Hero-Arkadag for appreciation of their successes.

The speakers pointed out that it is a great honour for them to represent their native fatherland and the successes reached by national teams of our country, are fruits of the huge attention given by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to development of sports movement and sports of highest achievements and trainings held sports complexes constructed and equipped with the modern equipment thanks to efforts of Hero-Arkadag, in particular, on arenas of the Olympic village who has no analogue in the region.
