Today, President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country general Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the State Security Council, at which results of work of military and law enforcement bodies for eleven months of the current year were considered. Issues of maintenance of safety and stability in our independent fatherland, strengthening of the material and technical basis of security structures, further perfection of their activity were discussed.
Secretary of the State Security Council, Minister of Defence B.Gundogdyev who reported on practical measures implemented from the beginning of the year with a view of successful solution of goals defined in the Program of development of the Armed Forces of the country, increase of professionalism of military men, creations of conditions for proper living conditions for defenders of our fatherland, was the first to take the floor. At the same time, he reported on the course of the next military draft and transfers to the reserve of military men, events organized for patriotic education of young soldiers and cadets of profile educational institutions.
Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov pointed out the importance of further consolidation of defensibility of our state, program development of the Armed Forces of the country according to requirements of the military doctrine of Turkmenistan, which bears especially a defensive character.
The head of the state underlined the necessity to carry out an effective work aimed at training of highly skilled personnel, improvement of conditions for fruitful service and life of military men and gave to that end a number of instructions to the Secretary of the State Security Council, Minister of Defence.
Attorney General B.Muhamedov reported on results of the activity for eleven months of the current year, including realisation of strict supervision of execution of laws, observance of the rights and freedom of the individual and citizen. Besides it, he reported on the realised complex measures for active application of digital system, regular increase of professionalism of employees.
Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov underlined that it is necessary to hold execution of laws and other legal acts in the country under strict control and gave the Attorney General a number of instructions.
Within the meeting, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan signed the Decree and Resolution on appointment and dismissal of public prosecutors.
Then, Minister of Internal Affairs M.Khydyrov reported on results of the activity of subordinated structure for eleven months of the current year, including the work, which is carried out within realisation of the Program of development of the ministry. Along with it, he reported on undertaken concrete steps with a view of prevention of offences and road and transport incidents, constant control over observance of fire prevention rules.
Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the significance of continuation of work on prevention of offences, maintenance of fire and road safety and gave the Minister corresponding instructions in this respect.
Having emphasised the necessity of wide use of possibilities of digital system for maintenance of law and order and safety of traffic, the head of the state gave the head of the Ministry a number of instructions.
Chairman of the Supreme Court B.Khojamgulyev reported on results of the activity of the structure he supervises for eleven months of 2025, introduction of advanced methods and modern technologies with a view of effective organisation of legal proceedings and fulfilment of the Program of development of the department, increase of professionalism of judges.
Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov marked the importance of continuation of the work for protection of the state and public interests, the rights of citizens, and perfection of the judicial system and gave the head of the Supreme Court a number of concrete instructions.
Within the meeting, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country signed the Decree on appointment and dismissal of judges of courts of Turkmenistan and assignment of qualifying classes.
Minister of National Security N.Atagarayev reported on adopted measures for the January-November period of the current year with a view of maintenance of law and order in the country. At the same time, he reported on the work carried out with a view of successful implementation of goals set before the department.
Summing up the report, the head of Turkmenistan emphasised the significance of the further perfection of activity of bodies of national security and improvement of professional skill of employees. In this connection, corresponding instructions were given to the head of the Ministry.
Further, the head of the State Border Service Ya.Nuryev reported on the work carried out for eleven months of the current year to ensure reliable protection of sacred boundaries of our land, create conditions for service and life of its defenders, modernise the material and technical basis of frontier posts.
Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov underlined that the frontier of Turkmenistan – border of friendship and good neighbourhood. It is necessary to continue work on introduction of advanced practice in the activity of the department and improvement of social conditions of military men, preparation of professional frontier guards, the head of the state pointed out and gave the head of the Service corresponding instructions.
Further, Minister of Adalat M.Taganov reported on adopted organizational measures from the beginning of the year to ensure proper work of the structures, which provide legal service for citizens and legal bodies, and wide introduction of digital system in the activity of the subordinate body.
Summing up the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov marked the significance of the work carried out to improve the national legislative framework, strengthen legal security, prepare standard legal acts and gave the Minister of Adalat a number of concrete instructions.
Then, Chairman of the State Customs Service M.Khudaykuliyev reported on the results of activity for the specified period, including the course of implementation of the Program of development of the Service and strengthening of the material and technical basis of divisions at the expense of introduction of modern technologies.
Having heard the report, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country underlined the necessity of perfection of observance of conformity of the goods imported into the country to the established requirements, increases of efficiency of activity of the Service at the expense of introduction of new technologies and modern methods and gave the head of the Service a number of instructions to that end.
Chairman of the State Migration Service A.Sazakov reported on the results of work for the January-November period of the current year, undertaken practical steps with a view of fulfilment of instructions of the head of Turkmenistan. He also reported on created conditions for fruitful service and proper living conditions of employees of the department.
Having heard the report, the head of the state noted the importance of further perfection of the activity to ensure control over observance of migration legislation. In this connection, a number of concrete instructions were given to the head of the Service.
Addressing members of the State Security Council, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov underlined the necessity of maintenance of safety and law and order during celebration of the glorious 30th anniversary of permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan, International Day of Neutrality as well as during international actions at high level.
Having emphasised that the New Year is approaching close, the head of the state gave heads of military and law enforcement bodies corresponding instructions.
Taking into account positions of the defensive Military doctrine of Turkmenistan, measures for maintenance of military safety and integrity of our independent, permanently neutral fatherland, strengthening of its defensibility, improvement of conditions for service and life of defenders of our land and members of their families at high level are consistently realised, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov underlined and stated that the work in the given area will be continued.
At the meeting of the State Security Council, a number of other issues, on which corresponding decisions were made, were also considered.
At the end of the meeting, President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country general Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished its participants sound health and great successes in their responsible service for peaceful and happy life of our people.
