On November 2, 2025, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov received the Chief Executive Officer of the Japanese company Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. Eisaku Ito.

Expressing his gratitude to the Head of state for the opportunity to meet, the head of the Japanese company noted the importance of the far-sighted policy pursued under the leadership of the President of Turkmenistan, aimed at industrialization and diversification of our national economy based on environmentally friendly innovative technologies. The guest also stressed that it was a great honor for him to participate in the celebrations marking the commissioning of new facilities and the laying of the foundation stone for a complex in Balkan velayat.

The Head of state wished him success in new initiatives to expand cooperation between Turkmenistan and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd.

As noted during the meeting, major Japanese companies are currently operating effectively in our country in various industries, including the oil and gas sector, energy, and the chemical industry.

Eisaku Ito expressed his sincere gratitude to the Head of state for creating favorable conditions for effective work and assured that his company would fulfill its contractual obligations in a timely and high-quality manner.

At the end of the meeting, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that special attention is being paid to ensuring production efficiency, compliance with environmental standards, and the introduction of the latest scientific and technological achievements at the facilities under construction in Turkmenistan, wishing Eisaku Ito, head of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd., success in his work.
