The President of Turkmenistan received the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan

On October 17, 2025, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov received the Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Government Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan Galymzhan Koishybayev.

Expressing his gratitude for the warm welcome, Galymzhan Koishybayev conveyed cordial greetings and best wishes from the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to the head of Turkmenistan and the National Leader of the Turkmen people.

Warmly welcoming the Deputy Prime Minister of the friendly country and addressing good wishes to President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that Turkmenistan attaches great importance to expanding partnership with the Republic of Kazakhstan. As the head of state emphasized, bilateral relations are developing in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

Noting that regular high-level contacts are the key factor in determining the vectors of comprehensive development of interstate cooperation, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov confirmed Turkmenistan’s commitment to further close cooperation with brotherly Kazakhstan.

In turn, the guest emphasized that Kazakhstan highly values its traditionally friendly relations with Turkmenistan, whose foreign policy is based on permanent neutrality and is of great importance in the context of strengthening peace and sustainable development in the region.

It was noted during the meeting that trade and economic partnership holds a special place on the agenda of intergovernmental dialogue.

Digitalization, infrastructure and innovation improvement, the green economy, and environmental protection were also identified as promising areas of Turkmen-Kazakh cooperation.

At the same time, the great importance attached to strengthening cultural and humanitarian dialogue was noted. The Intergovernmental Turkmen-Kazakh Commission on Economic, Scientific, Technical, and Cultural Cooperation plays a special role in the development of this cooperation.

In conclusion, expressing confidence that the results of the talks and meetings to be held during the current visit to Turkmenistan by Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan Galymzhan Koishybayev will give new impetus to mutually beneficial bilateral partnership, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished him success in his work.
