Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov made a working trip to the capital, in the course of which he familiarised with public health services projects planned to be constructed in the central city and velayats of the country as well as held a working meeting.

Public healthcare, maintenance of happy and peaceful life of our people are priorities of the state policy initiated by Hero-Arkadag and successfully realised under the leadership of the President of Turkmenistan. In that connection, the special attention is given to development of the national system of public health services.

Thanks to consecutive realisation of the Government program «Saglyk», developed by Hero-Arkadag, the material and technical basis of the system of public health services in recent years is strengthened and innovative technologies, advanced experience and latest achievements of science are actively introduced. 

Along with construction of modern medical institutions and related facilities in all corners of the country, the special attention is given to the training of highly qualified profile specialists. All it ensures a possibility for our citizens to use medical services corresponding to international standards.

... In the morning, the head of the state headed towards to the southern part of the capital. There, related officials warmly welcomed the President of the country.

Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet B.Annamammedov reported on the public health services projects planned to be built, including a multifield hospital for 500 beds in Ashgabat and another one for 300 beds in Tejen city of Akhal velayat, a centre for maternal and child health protection for 400 beds in Dashoguz city of Dashoguz velayat as well as health homes in Bagtyyarlyk etrap of the capital and presented drawings of their sites.

Projects planned to be constructed will supplement the list of establishments of the sphere of public health services of the country, equipped with modern medical technologies from leading world manufacturers and will provide our citizens with medical services corresponding international standards.

It will become a new step in the field of perfection of the national system of public health services within the Government program «Saglyk», adopted on the initiative of Hero-Arkadag.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov underlined the importance of maintenance of high quality of work in construction of profile projects planned to be built in the capital and velayats well as their timely commissioning into operation within established terms. 

Besides it, the head of the state gave concrete instructions on equipment of establishments of public health services of Turkmenistan with modern technologies, including instructions on use of possibilities of digital system.

As Hero-Arkadag marks, in our country a great significance is given to the prevention of diseases and their development.

In Turkmenistan all conditions are created for the youth to get modern education and specialities, the head of the state said and underlined the significance of maintenance of high level of professionalism of doctors who will work in these establishments and pointed out the necessity of development of cooperation with leading clinics of the world, in particular, organisation of online classes.

Then, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting with participation of  heads of profile establishments, at which dynamics of the work carried out in the national  system of public health services and other issues were considered.

Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet B.Annamammedov was the first to report on the paces of construction continued within the framework of the Program of the President of Turkmenistan of social and economic development of the country in 2022-2028.

As he informed, everything necessary is carried out for timely completion of work at construction sites with observance of requirements for quality.

Further, Deputy-Chairwoman of the Cabinet B.Orazdurdyeva reported on adopted measures in the light of preparation for Day of workers of public health services and medical industry.

She noted that this year is marked with the 30th anniversary of adoption of the Government program «Saglyk» initiated by Hero-Arkadag. Thanks to successful realisation for past years, goals proceeding from it in public health services system considerable progress is observed.

Then, khyakim of Ashgabat city R.Gandymov reported on adopted measures for maintenance of well-organised solemnities timed to Day of workers of public health services and medical industry.

As he informed, all efforts are made for further accomplishment of the capital.

Further, minister of health and medical industry M.Mammedov reported on the work carried out in the sphere.

He marked that at the initiative of Hero-Arkadag appropriate steps are taken for protection of health and prolonging life expectancy of the population, especially by means of prevention of diseases. In the given context, modernisation of the material and technical basis of medical centres proceeds. Guided by the goals designated by the head of the state, doctors make all efforts to protect health of citizens.

Addressing participants of the working meeting, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that in the country the special attention is given to development of the profile system and adopted program measures with a view of protection of public health. According to the state program «Saglyk», in all corners of our fatherland international medical centres, modern hospitals and health homes are constructed and commissioned into operation.

As the head of the state pointed out, on October 10, the country will solemnly celebrate Day of workers of public health services and medical industry. On the margins of the holiday large-scale events, including international events, openings of medical projects will take place.

The head of Turkmenistan underlined that profile projects planned to be built will also promote consecutive development of the national system of public health services.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed to prepare thoroughly for stone-laying ceremonies of medical institutions and to take measures to hold the International exhibition and scientific conference «Public health services, education and sports in the Era of Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state» on the occasion of Day of workers of public health services and medical industry at high level.

Concluding the working meeting, the head of the state underlined that the activity carried out to develop the system of public health services, improve the quality of medical services given to the population, prolong the life expectancy of people will be continued.

Having wished the gathered sound health, family well-being and great successes in their work, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov left the place.
