On September 28, 2025, during the horse races dedicated to the 34th anniversary of Turkmenistan's Independence, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received the president, CEO, and representative director of the Japanese company Toyo Engineering Corporation, Eiji Hosoi, who arrived in the country to participate in the celebrations.

Expressing his gratitude for the time given to him, Eiji Hosoi warmly congratulated the head of state on Turkmenistan's Independence Day. At the same time, the great contribution of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Hero-Arkadag to the development of constructive Japanese-Turkmen dialogue was noted.

Warmly welcoming the guest, the President of Turkmenistan emphasized that since the early years of independence, friendly and fraternal relations between Turkmenistan and Japan have been successfully developing in a number of areas, including oil and gas, chemicals, construction, and others. The programs being implemented in the country and the favorable investment climate created provide the basis for their expansion.

In this regard, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the important role of large Japanese companies, in particular Toyo Engineering Corporation, in the steady development and strengthening of this partnership.

Toyo Engineering Corporation has established fruitful cooperation in the oil, gas, and chemical industries. The construction and commissioning of a polymer production plant in Kiyanly with the participation of the corporation is a vivid confirmation of this.

Expressing his gratitude for the favorable conditions created for productive work in the Turkmen market, Eiji Hosoi confirmed his company's readiness to continue contributing to the economic progress of Turkmenistan.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that, given the economic development programs and industrial reforms being implemented in our country, there are prospects for cooperation in new areas. In this context, Turkmenistan's readiness to consider specific proposals from the Japanese company was confirmed.

Eiji Hosoi assured that every effort would be made to justify the high level of trust placed in his company.
