Today, a regular session of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan began at the «Maslahat Köşgi» Palace in the capital, chaired by the National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

The agenda of the Halk Maslahaty session, held in the lead-up to the 34th anniversary of our country's sacred independence, includes important issues aimed at ensuring a happy and prosperous life for our people and the further socioeconomic development of Turkmenistan.

Participating in the session of the country's highest representative body are Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, members of the Mejlis, heads of ministries and departments, political parties and public organisations, media outlets, hakims of velayats, etraps, and cities, members of velayat, etrap, and city Halk Maslahaty, honourary elders, respected mothers, and representatives of the public.
