Today, the capital city hosted the opening of the exhibition of economic achievements of Turkmenistan, devoted to the 34th anniversary of independence of the country. The exhibition, which is annually held on the threshold of the main holiday of our fatherland highlights successes of national economy and large scale political and cultural-humanitarian transformations.
Members of the Government, heads of the Mejlis, ministries, departments, representatives of the diplomatic missions accredited in Turkmenistan and the international organisations as well as representatives of velayats, Ashgabat and Arkadag cities who will take part in the meeting of the Khalk Maslakhaty, public associations, business circles of the country and mass-media took part in the opening ceremony of the exhibition, which was held in the building of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Performances of workers of culture and art added new colours to the festive atmosphere of the event.

In his congratulatory message, the head of the state expressed confidence that this exhibition held with a view of familiarization of the world community with successes and high boundaries, reached for 34 years of our sacred independence - the sovereignty of the indestructible Turkmen state, will be held with great success.
Achievements in social and economic development of the country are a firm basis for construction of the bright future. In this connection, we attach a special significance to the further stable development of economy. Large industrial complexes equipped with high technologies are created and work on modernisation of all branches and transition to the digital system successfully proceeds, Arkadagly Hero Serdar underlines in his message.

Before familiarization with the exhibition, videos reflecting achievements of the country for years of independence, realised and ongoing reforms for the happy life of our people were shown for participants of the ceremony.

The exhibition platform houses pavilions of Ashgabat and Arkadag cities as well as velayat administrations and each of them clearly highlights their social and economic development.
Shots on monitors show unique features of regions of the country, their industrial potential, achievements in various spheres and the panorama of cultural life. In particular, the exposition of Arkadag city, which has become a symbol of achievements in the Era of Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state, evoked a particular interest in visitors. At present, the second phase of construction of the «smart» city, which is the first one of its kind in the region as displayed on the banner established in the pavilion, proceeds at high paces.
Expositions of the exhibition also widely reflect the course of modernisation and diversification of branches of national economy within the government programs and innovative projects. The oil and gas sector occupies a special niche there.
As known, Turkmenistan enter into the number of the leading countries of the world for reserves of hydrocarbons. In that connection, a great significance is given to the development of oil and gas industry as one of key sectors of economy. The present exhibition widely shows achievements of our country in this area. On stands of «Türkmengaz», «Türkmennebit» State Concerns and «Türkmengeologiýa» State Corporation one can see dynamics of growth of production and processing of hydrocarbon resources as well as samples of production.
The agriculture pavilion - one of key sectors of national economy also takes a special place at the exhibition. Ministries of Agriculture and Environmental Protection, State Water Economy Committee, «Türkmenpagta» State Concern, «Türkmengallaönümleri», «Türkmenobakhyzmat» State Associations, food-processing industry of Turkmenistan, cattle breeding and poultry farming industry of the country represent the agro-industrial complex. Their stands highlight high-quality foodstuff, advanced technologies introduced in the sector and the work carried out to develop agricultural science, seed growing and selection according to modern requirements.
The work aimed at the further strengthening of food security of the country, perfection of reforms in agriculture, modern organisation of activities in this sphere and wide attraction private commodity producers to the sector is carried out on a program basis. The role of the private sector now increases in the given context. Participation of private enterprises engaged in this area in the present exhibition also attests to the fact. economic societies «Täze balyk», «Elin balyk», engaged in fishing industry, «Maksada okgunly», specialized in breeding turkeys and manufacture from their meat of various production are also among them.
The transport-communication complex plays an important role in sustainable development of national economy. According to the political policy initiated by Hero-Arkadag and nowadays successfully realised by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, our country modernises the material and technical basis and infrastructure of all types of transport, creates perspective transport-transit corridors, actively advances transport diplomacy in interests of sustainable development and general well-being.
As known, in the extended meeting of the Cabinet held on July 11 of the current year, according to the Resolution of the head of the state, ministries of railway transportation, communication, motor transport, «Türkmenhowaýollary» State Service and Sea and River Transport State Service of Turkmenistan were established with a view of perfection of activity of the transport-communication complex and it opened a new page in their development. The given structures also take part in the present exhibition. The presented expositions visually show the work carried out to create a well-co-ordinated transport system with an access to large international and regional sea, automobile, railway and air transport routes and transformation of Turkmenistan into a large transit hub between Europe and Asia.
The construction and industrial branch – a promising and fast-growing sector of Turkmen economy. There one can see stands of the Ministry of Construction and Architecture, Ministry of Industry and Construction Production, Ministry of Energy, «Türkmenhimiýa» State Concern and State Agency for Management of Highway Construction as well as breadboard models of new housing areas, industrial targets and other infrastructural projects, innovative solutions and technologies.
In construction and finishing of buildings in our country, high quality building materials corresponding to local environmental conditions and ecological norms are used. Architectural features of majestic constructions erected in days of independence as well as modern technologies, which were applied in their construction, testify to the huge economic and creative potential of our independent, permanently neutral fatherland, which has embarked on the path of innovative development.
In the pavilion of «Türkmen aýna önümleri» enterprise, one can see various kinds of glass production and glassware made at the enterprise. As we remember, the shop for production of glassware has been recently opened in the territory of the industrial complex in the northern part of the capital with participation of the President of Turkmenistan. It has become another more vivid example of success of realised economic strategy for diversification of national economy and strengthening of its industrial potential.
It is necessary to note that recent years have witnessed implementation of many building projects in our country by private companies, which are members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs. Representatives of local business circles take an active part in realisation of complex programs and bring their worthy contribution to the strengthening of the economic power of our fatherland. Among them are private enterprises «Ojar Aziýa», «Nur bina gurluşyk», «Ajaýyp gurluşyk», specialising in the construction sphere, economic societies «Türkmen bina gurluşyk», «Ak bulut», «Ak gaýa», specialising in production of dyes, building materials and mixtures, «Şanly Bedew», manufacturing steel pipes and profiles, «Eziz doganlar keramika», providing ceramic ware .
The chemical industry is also one of the promising branches of national economy. At present, enterprises of «Türkmenhimiýa» State Concern manufacture various kinds of mineral fertilizers, petrochemical production and building materials. At the exhibition one can see products of Turkmenabat chemical plant for manufacture of phosphoric fertilizers, factories «Tejenkarbamid», «Marykarbamid», factories for manufacture of iodine «Balkanabat» and «Bereket», production associations «Maryazot», «Garabogazsulfat», factory «Garabogazkarbamid» and Garlyk mining complex for manufacture of potash fertilizers.
Along with state enterprises at the exhibition, private companies specialising in manufacture of petrochemical production are also displayed. Among them is the enterprise «Geljege miras», which manufactures lubricants and engine oils, antifreezes for cars and other vehicles under the trade mark «GM Oil», products from polypropylene and plastic under the trade mark «GM plast» as well as the individual enterprise «Yhlasly nazar» for production of engine oils under the trade mark «Alfa».
Among exhibitors – the close end joint-stock company «Türkmen Awtoban», which carries out construction of the Ashgabat-Turkmenabat high-speed highway - one of the largest infrastructural projects realised in the country in recent years.
As known, in April of the current year with participation of head of the state Serdar Berdimuhamedov a solemn commissioning ceremony of the Tejen-Mary sector of the Ashgabat-Turkmenabat high-speed highway was held. The commissioning of the autobahn Ashgabat-Turkmenabat with a length of 600 kilometres will allow raising essentially throughput of transport system of the country and quality of logistical services, to stimulate growth of cargo transportation that will accelerate dynamics of development of national economy.
An important place in the exposition was occupied with pavilions of structures of the trade complex - Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations, regional consumer societies, the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange, Union of Industrialists and entrepreneurs. There one could see a wide assortment of high-quality foodstuff like meat, dairy, flour and confectionery, vegetable oils, baby food, fish production, fresh fruit, vegetables, dried fruits, honey and others. One should point out that package and design of the goods correspond to the international ecological and aesthetic standards.
Private enterprises «Hasar», «Täze aý», «Ýüpekçi», «Parahat», «Tomus», «Bars», specialising in manufacture of foodstuff also display a wide range of production.
The exhibition of economic achievements of the country also familiarizes guests with successes of the private sector in trade area and services, organisation of work of specialised shops. The assortment of the goods shows a remarkable uplift occurred in recent years in the private industrial sector. Having relied upon the latest technologies, the local private sector has attained a serious industrial level. It concerns household electronics, stylish household goods of various designs.
Stands of the Ministry of Finance and Economy, Central Bank and commercial banks reflecting a positive influence of economic reforms in organisation of activity of the trade sphere also evoke a great interest. The National Organisation of Turkmenistan of Bar Codes also displays its own pavilion. As a full member of the international organisation on development and introduction of the standards, the given structure assists Turkmen companies in their activity on the international scene.
The Ministry of Textile Industry, which is one of the leading export-focused branches of Turkmen economy, displayed high-quality products from cotton and silk. Those products included various kinds of cotton, silk fabrics, sewing and knitted products of trademarks «Gala», «Bedew», «Miras», «Jeýtun», «Nusaý», «Bürgüt», made by textile complexes of the Ministry.
Visitors of the exhibition also take an interest in production of the enterprises of State Association «Türkmenhaly» and entrepreneurs is engaged in carpet making, national handicraftsmen, and modern carpet products. National dresses, silver ornaments and refined carpets amaze with their fineness and richness.
Participants of the exhibition also show interest in stands of the State Committee of Turkmenistan for physical culture and sports. Thanks to the activity of Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov as well as the President of the country sports are an integral making modern life of our people, a pledge of healthy physical and spiritual development of generations. Achievements of Turkmen sportsmen, cups, and medals they won can serve a good acknowledgement.
The main feature of the present exhibition - its spiritual-cultural and intellectual component. The Ministry of Education, having united in one big pavilion of establishments of primary, secondary and higher school, academic institutes displays clearly weighty successes and achievements in the science and education spheres. Classrooms for kids, the modern equipment of high school educational laboratories, research projects and solutions, educational materials and the cups won in prestigious student's Olympiads, also provide a proper picture of the high level of education of the younger generation, training of future scientists and qualified personnel for the country.
The stand of the Academy of Sciences also demonstrates scientific achievements, modern research equipment, ancient manuscripts and scientific editions. As known, the Academy of Sciences in our country is the basis of national science. The research and prospecting works carried out at institutes of the academy of Sciences give an impulse for new discoveries and achievements in the field of exact, natural sciences and the humanities.
Large companies occupied in the field of IТ-technologies make up the original cluster on the exhibition platform. Practical introduction of the best world and local experience in this area, steady increase of level and quality of life of Turkmen nationals – a key criteria of radical restructurings which are carried out under the leadership of head of the state Serdar Berdimuhamedov. Modern computers, monitors, AIOs, laptops, payment terminals manufactured by «Aýdyň gijeler» and joint venture «Agzybirlik tilsimaty» can serve a good example for it.
The Ministry of Health and Medical Industry displayed its international certificates testifying to recognition of merits of the country in liquidation of several infectious diseases, pharmaceutical production, various toolkit, and natural makeup preparations at the exhibition.
The attention of visitors involves the pavilion of the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography, which displayed various interactive media projects. The stand of the Turkmen state publishing service is devoted to modern polygraph and printing.
Representatives of the tourism sector as a promptly developing branch brought the contribution to augmentation of authority of the country on the international scene, popularisation of its successes and achievements, rich history and culture of Turkmen people, unique natural objects and historical and cultural monuments. The sphere with possibilities and offers acquaint visitors of the exhibition with travel agencies.
New collections of clothes from fashion houses of the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan and Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of the country added more colours to the exhibition forum with their shows.
The exhibition will continue till September 20.
